How to Get Back to Mexico in Death Stranding 2

Death Stranding 2 is split between bringing Australia and Mexico into the Chiral Network in efforts to reunite humanity across continents, but since Mexico starts out as the prologue section for the game, some players might have already left for Australia without looking back, only to wonder if they have missed anything important.

Death Stranding 2: What Are Voidouts?

Voidouts are extremely deadly in Death Stranding 2, and players will need to know what they are and what happens if they manage to trigger one.

Luckily, players don’t have to worry about missables in Death Stranding 2, as it’s entirely possible to return to Mexico at any point in the game, allowing players to enjoy a hop between continents with immense ease instead of relying on a 21+ hour flight.

How to Travel to Mexico in Death Stranding 2

Once players arrive in Australia, they can head to the Plate Gate found in the south west corner of the map where they originally arrived in. If players head to the Australia Plate Gate, they can walk through and cross to the other side where they will spawn at the Mexico Plate Gate, allowing them to travel back to Mexico to complete orders, connect more prepares, and experience the Mexico map.

Players can fast travel back to Mexico far quicker after completing Order 12, where they will then have access to the DHV Magellan to open fast travel. Players can open the map with the Options button and then hold the X button to chart a course with the DHV Magellan. From here, they can switch to the Mexico map with L1 and then choose any destination connected to the Chiral Network, which will see the DHV Magellan fly there. If players want to fast travel to Mexico, they will need to be on the ship itself, as it will go without Sam if he sends the ship but is not on it. This can be accomplished easily by first sending the DHV Magellan to any base in Australia and then boarding it to set another course for Mexico.
