Nintendo added that the Switch 2’s 3.5 million sales figure makes it the fastest-selling console in the company’s history, as it has outperformed the original Switch within a similar timeframe. Nintendo stated that the sales figures accounted for all available Switch 2 unit configurations sold globally, along with region-locked consoles available in Japan for a lower price. However, the precise numbers for each Switch 2 console option, such as the Mario Kart World bundle, were unavailable as of this writing.
