Like Butterflies is a request in Stellar Blade that instructs players to take photos of hidden butterflies in the Wasteland using Selfie Mode. This request can be started at the bulletin board in Xion after completing the Photography Club request, and there are 10 hidden butterflies to find. Stellar Blade: How to Photograph Butterflies in the Wasteland
While Stellar Blade players may already have a good understanding of how they are to photograph the hidden butterflies when they find them, here is an overview of the process for the sake of full clarity:
- Position Eve so that she is in front of the butterfly. Her back should be turned towards it.
- Hold down on the d-pad and select the camera.
- Press down on the d-pad to open Selfie Mode.
- A white reticle will mark the butterfly if it is visible, and it will quickly turn green. The photo will be taken as soon as the associated green circle is filled.
If the reticle does not turn green, or it simply does not appear, players may need to reposition Eve and try again.
Stellar Blade: All Hidden Butterfly Locations (Like Butterflies)
Vibrant Butterfly
Enter the dilapidated ship in the southwest corner of Stellar Blade‘s Wasteland, and go left once inside to find the Vibrant Butterfly. Climb on to the top of the blue shipping containers across from the butterfly to take a selfie with it.
Rare Butterfly
The Rare Butterfly is on a wall near a computer terminal, on the first floor of the Solar Tower.
Flamboyant Butterfly
There is a billboard just northwest of the Solar Tower, and the Flamboyant Butterfly is painted on it. Players can use the antenna next to the billboard to climb up to the butterfly and get the photo.
Cute Butterfly
Head to the metal platform in the alcove at the north end of the Wasteland. There are containers covered with a green tarp pressed against that platform, and the Cute Butterfly is on the tarp.
Graceful Butterfly
Go to the phone booth on the east side of the Wasteland, and make your way to the back of the ruined building next to it. The Graceful Butterfly is painted on the exterior of the building, and players can climb the rubble to get a good angle for the selfie.
Precious Butterfly
Look for the Precious Butterfly on a toppled metal structure with barbed wire, just west of the building with the sphere at the top.
Joyful Butterfly
Use the path next to the Junkyard Supply Camp to enter an area that is traversed by running across red walls. There is a section within this area that is traversed with three consecutive wall runs, and the path beyond that section leads to the Joyful Butterfly.
Pure Butterfly
Go to the phone booth on the east side of the Wasteland, and head a few paces northeast to find a striped rope that can be used to descend into a chasm. Continue downward to reach a metal fence, and look for the Pure Butterfly on the wall next to it.
Mysterious Butterfly
The Mysterious Butterfly is on the back of a billboard with “DG” on its front.
Dreaming Butterfly
Enter the flooded area in the southeast corner of the Wasteland, and climb the stairs to the left. The Dreaming Butterfly is painted on a tarp that covers some containers, near the top of those stairs.
Stellar Blade: Like Butterflies Reward
Players who complete the Like Butterflies request will receive the FourSeconds Black Denim outfit in Stellar Blade.
