Dying Light: The Beast Pre-Orders Are Now Open
Dying Light: The Beast‘s SGF 2025 trailer marks the official start of its pre-order period. The game is priced at $59.99 / £49.99 across every platform: the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Its PC version can be pre-purchased via both Steam and the Epic Games Store. Techland is incentivizing pre-orders with a Hero of Harran bundle, consisting of five items meant to offer both gameplay utility and serve as a nod to the rest of the Dying Light franchise. These include the Ultimate Survivor Outfit and In Jade’s Memory Pistol, as well as the Harran Combat Knife and The Follower Crossbow. The pre-order bonuses also incorporate the Castor Woods Patrol, a police off-road cruiser ideal for mowing down zombies.
Anyone who purchased the previously delisted Dying Light 2: Stay Human Ultimate Edition will receive Dying Light: The Beast free of charge. The Hero of Harran Bundle will also be included in the complimentary package, Techland has confirmed. In the run-up to today’s SGF 2025 showcase, the developer-publisher discounted the first two series entries on select platforms. Dying Light 2: Stay Human is currently 67% off on Steam and the PlayStation Store, bringing its price down to $23.09. Meanwhile, the original Dying Light is 80% off ($3.99) on Steam and 70% off ($8.99) on the PS Store. All deals run until June 19.
Dying Light: The Beast Pre-Order Bonuses
- Ultimate Survivor Outfit – Known as the Juggernaut outfit in Dying Light, this cool makeshift apocalyptic look was rewarded to the most dedicated survivors.
- Harran Combat Knife – A swift and deadly weapon, the zombie head engraving on the blade is a throwback to the original Dying Light’s box art.
- The Follower Crossbow – First found in Dying Light: The Following expansion, this crossbow is perfect for a stealthier approach.
- In Jade’s Memory Pistol – Jade Aldemir – she’s one of the reasons you made it out of Harran alive. With her likeness on the grip, think of her with every bullet you fire from this pistol.
- Castor Woods Patrol – Rescuing hikers from the woods and cats from trees was a breeze for this powerful beast. Now put it to the real test and see how it handles the zombie apocalypse!
As for the upcoming game itself, Dying Light: The Beast will have players once again take control of Kyle Crane, who has endured years of horrifying experiments by the Baron following the events of the first game. The ordeal left him with half-human, half-zombie DNA, forcing him to battle disturbing new urges. As his internal struggle continues, Kyle seeks revenge against the man responsible, forming some “fragile alliances” along the way, according to the game’s official synopsis.
