During Summer Game Fest 2025, Jurassic World Evolution 3 was unveiled. As part of the reveal, Frontier Developments announced that the game will be released on October 21, meaning players only have a few more months to wait until they can start building their own dinosaur enclosures. Furthermore, players can already pre-order on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Those who pre-order will receive the Badlands Set, offering new items themed around the dig site from 1993’s Jurassic Park. According to Frontier Developments, Jurassic World Evolution 3 will have two editions: Standard at $59.99 and Deluxe at $74.99. The Deluxe Edition will offer a variety of extras, including extra dinosaur family units, scenery items, and more.

Beyond the release date, Frontier Developments showcased gameplay in a new trailer. Narrated by Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcom, the video revealed some of the new features of Jurassic World Evolution 3. Notably, the game will include juvenile dinosaurs, with players able to utilize a “comprehensive breeding system.” It is worth noting that 75 of the 80 pre-historic species in the game let players “manage, breed, and nurture families of dinosaurs across entire generations.” In addition, the game will include new tools to help players better realize their perfect dinosaur parks. The developer is also introducing cross-platform sharing so that players can show off their designs to the community using the Frontier Workshop.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 will also feature a new campaign. Frontier Developments noted that this campaign will have players build parks across the globe in places like Hawaii and Japan. Also, Dr. Ian Malcom will be joined by both new and returning characters throughout a storyline that has players “balance competing human interests with the delicate integration of dinosaurs into the modern world.”

With only a few more months until Jurassic World Evolution 3 ultimately releases, it seems likely that Frontier Developments will unveil more details about the game soon. It will be interesting to see if the game can stand out from the rest of the video games that will be released in 2025.
