How to Get the Holtzman Amplifier in Dune Awakening

The Griffin’s Reach Tradepost is the first major settlement that players will visit when they first start their journey in Dune: Awakening. After progressing a bit further, you’ll be able to pick up the Scrap Mettle: Wrecking Crew contract here. The contract will require players to retrieve the Holtzman Amplifier for some decent Solari as a reward.

The Holtzman Amplifier can be found in the Wreck of the Alcyon, which is located just west of the Griffin’s Reach Tradepost and Imperial Testing Station No. 2. Once players arrive at the Wreck, they will be able to enter the location through multiple entrances. However, the best way to get inside is the entrance that’s located at the back of an enemy camp.

Speaking of the enemy camp, the location will be infested with enemies, both inside and outside. It’s recommended that players eliminate all the enemies in various areas of the wreck before starting exploration. Once the area is clear of enemies, make your way further inside the wreck until you arrive inside a room with the hologram of the globe map. There’s a golden chest that can be found on the table to the left of the hologram that contains the Holtzman Amplifier.

Since you’re here already, it’s recommended to complete the exploration of the Wreck of the Alcyon to get the final chest inside, which will contain a unique blueprint, some Spice-Infused Carbon Ingots, and other helpful resources.

Once you’ve got everything you need at the Wreck of the Alcyon, head back to Griffin’s Reach and interact with the Contracts Board. After delivering the Holtzman Amplifier, contact the contract issuer, and you’ll receive 2000 Solaris as a reward, and also unlock more contracts to complete in Dune: Awakening.
