The Sims 4: How to Cure Vampirism

The Vampires Game Pack introduced the first occults to The Sims 4 back in early 2017, and it’s still just as iconic as ever. While vampires are exciting creatures, it can be tough to take care of a vampire Sim, which is why gamers might consider curing their Sims of vampirism in The Sims 4.

The Sims 4 offered more variation in gameplay than ever before, but not every game pack was created equal.

The process isn’t overly complicated, but there are quite a few steps, and it requires some effort. This guide will walk players through the process of curing Sims of vampirism so they can once again live normal, mortal lives in-game.

How to Cure Vampirism in The Sims 4

In order to become a human once again in The Sims 4, a vampire Sim has to drink the Ultimate Vampire Cure, which is a special cocktail. To be able to make The Ultimate Vampire Cure, Sims need to reach Level 15 of the Vampire Lore Skill.

Sims can obtain the Vampire Lore Skill via the computer. They can use it to research information on vampires, and once they get the skill, they can also Purchase Vampire Tomes in the Vampire Secrets tab in the pie menu. After purchasing the first volume of the Encyclopedia Vampirica on the computer, the remaining volumes will also become available on any bookshelf. However, players will only be able to buy them once they learn everything they can from the current volume that they own. The Ultimate Vampire Tome will get players to Vampire Lore Skill Level 15, thus unlocking The Ultimate Vampire Cure.

How to Make The Ultimate Vampire Cure in The Sims 4

Players don’t need the Mixology skill to make The Ultimate Vampire Cure, but they do need access to a bar. They can buy them in Build and Buy Mode or visit any lounge or bar in town in order to use one for free. The Ultimate Vampire Cure recipe requires a few items and a fair bit of money. Here is what gamers need to make The Ultimate Vampire Cure in The Sims 4:

  • 10 Garlic
  • 10 Wolfsbane
  • 10 Plasma Fruit
  • 2,500 Simoleons

Players can order Garlic, Wolfsbane, and Plasma Fruit seeds on the computer. Once the packets are opened, these items will be added to players’ inventories. If they’re not short on cash, they can simply purchase more seed packets to immediately get these ingredients. If that’s not the case, then they might want to plant them or go around Midnight Hollow and harvest them in the wild.

Once players have the required ingredients and Simoleons, they must interact with a bar and prepare The Ultimate Vampire Cure. If a vampire drinks this cocktail, they will turn into a human.

How to Cure Other Vampires in The Sims 4

Unfortunately, Sims cannot prepare a drink of their choice for another Sim, so it can be difficult to cure other vampires in The Sims 4. The easiest way to do this is to befriend the vampire and get them to move in.

Alternatively, players with the Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack can open up a food stall, stock it with The Ultimate Vampire Cure cocktail, invite their target to their lot, and convince them to buy it – this will get them to drink it.
