Epic Games Store is Giving Away 2 Free Games Right Now

Epic Games Store users have until Thursday, June 26 at 10:00am CT to claim the storefront’s latest free games. While most Epic Games Store users access the store on PC, it’s also available on mobile. Epic Games has drawn hundreds of millions of gamers to its PC storefront, and it’s hoping to find similar success in the mobile space.

Epic Games Store on mobile is an alternative place for mobile gamers to purchase games. Like the PC version, the mobile version of the Epic Games Store hopes to draw new users in through free game giveaways. Every week, mobile gamers have something new that they can add to their digital library, encouraging them to visit the storefront on a weekly basis.

Epic Games Store is Nearing 300 Million Users

Five years after its launch, the Epic Games Store is close to reaching a user base of 300 million PC players, despite tough competition from Steam.

At the time of this writing, there are two free games for Epic Games Store users to add to their digital libraries. On the PC side of things, The Operator is free on the Epic Games Store, while Doodle God: Infinite Alchemy Merge is free for mobile users. Epic Games Store free games are available for the exact same amount of time on both PC and mobile, so fans have until Thursday, June 26 at 10:00am CT to claim the games for themselves.

Epic Games Store Free Games Right Now

  • The Operator (June 19 – June 26) – PC
  • Doodle God: Infinite Alchemy Merge (June 19 – June 26) – Mobile

For those unfamiliar with the latest Epic Games Store free games, The Operator is a narrative-driven mystery game where players utilize FBI-style technology to solve cases. It earned mostly positive reviews and should appeal to fans of crime stories. Doodle God: Infinite Alchemy Merge, meanwhile, is a puzzle game where players combine elements to create something new, in a manner not unlike Scribblenauts. Both games are free until June 26, at which point they will be replaced by the next free game offerings.

Mobile users have no idea what next week’s free Epic Games Store game will be, as they are not announced in advance. Those interested will simply have to return to the Epic Games Store on mobile next week to see what’s in store. PC gamers, on the other hand, know that Sable is free on the Epic Games Store next week, with it scheduled to be available from June 26 to July 3. Sable is a stylized adventure game with platforming and vehicular exploration that also earned mostly positive reviews when it first released. Sable has been free on the Epic Games Store in the past, so it’s not quite as exciting as some of the other free games that have been given away this year, but it should be a great addition for those that missed out on claiming it the first time around.
