How to Unlock Shatter Blast in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Shatter Blast is a free reward that players can earn through the Rivals Event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone. To get Shatter Blast, players will need to earn a total of 43,000 XP during the event’s runtime. Once done, the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod will be unlocked and can be applied to any weapon in Black Ops 6 Zombies by crafting it at The Arsenal for 500 Salvage.
The Rivals Event for Black Ops 6 and Warzone ends on July 3 at 10 AM PT. Once it ends, the Shatter Blast Ammo Mod will be moved to the Armory for those who have not already unlocked it.
Best Shatter Blast Augments in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Shatter Blast’s main use is its ability to dish out an explosion capable of damaging enemies and destroying the armor of Armored Zombies. However, with the right augments, it can be made more powerful. While players can definitely mix and match different augments for Shatter Blast to fit their preference, as of Season 4, the two best augments that players can use in combination are, without a doubt, the following:
- Blast Chain (Major Augment): Shatter Blast has additional detonations
- Blast Boost (Minor Augment): Increases explosion damage
Blast Chain essentially allows Shatter Blast to continue triggering explosions in the area of activation for around 5 seconds. Pair this with Blast Boost, which increases the damage dealt by each explosion, and players have the maximum amount of damage possible from a single use of Shatter Blast.
This combination is highly effective at taking out groups of zombies and can even dish out immense damage to Special and Elite Zombies. Pair it with Citrus Focus and Chillberry for Elemental Pop, and players can frequently make use of these buffs to decimate hordes of zombies with ease.
