Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel has officially revealed the next new Selection Pack coming to the game in late June, adding new support for three popular older archetypes. The massively popular digital card game from Konami has done plenty throughout the last year to bring some of its older strategies back into the limelight with powerful new cards. Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel‘s new support for the beloved “Blue-Eyes” archetype was a smash hit, turning Seto Kaiba’s iconic anime strategy into a top-tier deck. Now, multiple different strategies are receiving a batch of new cards.
Konami’s release structure for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel has seen players regularly given a variety of new options to choose from when building their decks. Each month typically introduces one to two new Selection Packs to Master Duel, focused primarily around new cards and adding new strategies from the physical game’s most recent sets. Konami also often releases new Secret Packs or updates its older Packs, providing an easier opportunity for players to build Decks whose Selection Packs have rotated out. Konami is now rolling out its newest Selection Pack, including new cards for a trio of anime archetypes.

Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Adds New June 2025 Selection Pack
The addition of Master Duel‘s newest Selection Pack will look to benefit several archetypes that have long passed their prime within the TCG. Gladiator Beast served as one of the best decks in the game following its release in late 2007, dominating the game with its versatile Battle Phase-focused gameplay. While Arcana Force and D/D/D never quite reached the same heights, D/D/D has often popped up as a rogue-tier strategy, owing to its high-ceiling combos that can take over a game.
Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel looks to be entering one of the most exciting times of the year with its recent updates. Early June saw Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel host its annual “World Championships Qualifier” event, giving the top players in the event an invitation to compete at the game’s World Championship Tournament later this year. Master Duel‘s competitive meta has also seen plenty of shifts throughout the year, including the “Fiendsmith” archetype taking over as a “Tier 0” engine. Master Duel‘s newest pack looks to help a trio of older decks keep up with the game’s constantly evolving meta.
