How to Recycle Weapons in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions
While gathering items and weapons requires players to either find them during missions or head to the Vendors at Supernova Academy to purchase them with Essence, recycling weapons functions a little differently, as players do not need to head to a specific location to do it. Instead, players can recycle items straight from their inventory, making the process rather quick and simple to complete for newcomers.
To recycle weapons in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions, follow these quick and easy steps:
- Open the inventory by pressing Tab on keyboard or Up on the D-Pad on controller.
- Locate a specific item within the inventory to recycle.
- Hold R on keyboard or R2/RT on controller.
Doing so will recycle the selected item, removing it from the player’s inventory. This can all be done from the safety of the Supernova Academy, too, eliminating the need to dive straight into a mission. Players will also receive a sum of Essence upon recycling the item, with the amount depending on the type of weapon recycled. Recycling weapons in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions is the go-to way to clear out a player’s inventory while getting Essence back in return.
If players recycle a total of 10 weapons, they will also complete an Inspired Quest—one that rewards them with a total of 30,000 XP. This is definitely a neat sum that will be applied to every pass the player owns, along with completing yet another quest to be put towards unlocking those cosmetic rewards as part of the Supernova Quests in LEGO Fortnite Expeditions.
