Ubisoft has released the Y7S1.1 patch for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, and the update fixes several issues that were plaguing the Battle for Brooklyn DLC, alongside more changes. The Division 2 is an online-only action RPG that was first launched in 2019 and developed by Massive Entertainment, set in a near-future version of Washington, D.C. during the fallout of the “Green Poison” virus.
The Division 2 released the Y7S1 Public Test Server update back in April, which offered players a preview of Year 7 Season 1. The update featured this season’s global modifier, called Hard-Core, which has three types of bonuses for Firearms, Stamina, and Electronics. Five Active Modifiers and the debut of Hostile Countermeasures, a new enemy buff, are also part of the new season.

Whether players are newfound fans or franchise veterans, these unwritten rules can help navigate the post-apocalyptic world of The Division 2.
The patch notes for the Y7S1.1 update prioritized fixes to the Battle for Brooklyn DLC, including a fix addressing an issue with fast-traveling to the Warlords of New York expansion and players becoming stuck behind automatic doors. Changes were also given to modifiers, gear, and rewards, including a fixed issue with the Hard-Core modifier attribute counters, an update to Level 4 Control Points, and The Hoarder will now drop multiple event items. The Division 2 is one of the best games that emphasizes teamwork, alongside the likes of Monster Hunter Wilds, Project Zomboid, and Borderlands 3, but contrary to in-game camaraderie, the shooter’s community is uniting for a different reason in response to the update.
Some fans of the game previously thought The Division 2’s Battle for Brooklyn DLC was stuck between a rock and a hard place due to the timing of its release, and players are currently complaining about the length of time it takes Ubisoft to do maintenance during an update. Other social media users reported some issues that weren’t addressed in the recent patch, including a fix for the Rager global directive that won’t activate.
The Division 2’s Battle for Brooklyn DLC is packed with content and missions and is the second-largest DLC story behind Warlords of New York. The story campaign features seven missions that are divided into the World and Main categories, taking place in the likes of DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights. Players also have a long list of activities to partake in, and fans of the shooter should expect to sink around four to six hours into gameplay to complete it, depending on certain variables like difficulty.
