Clair Obscur Expedition 33 Receives Praise from CD Projekt Red

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been praised by CD Projekt Red’s global community director, who stated that “we need more games like this.” Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 keeps surprising people in the industry—from players to developers—who see in this title not only a great game but a path they hope future games will follow.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33‘s successful journey has led it to achieve an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam player reviews and receive an immense amount of praise from critics alike. This RPG offers a captivating story packed with beautiful music and visuals, along with an engaging and fun combat system that, despite being turn-based, requires players to dodge, parry, and even use a free-aim shooting mechanic. Clair Obscur feels like a breath of fresh air in the industry, as it distances itself from some of the recent strategies and practices commonly seen in major games. Many feel that Clair Obscur‘s approach to game development is the one others should follow. Now, even the studio behind The Witcher 4 has shared positive comments about it.
