While they aren’t for everyone, Delves have become a popular endgame activity alternative for players who either don’t have the time to raid or do Mythic+ dungeons or have no interest. But even with Delves having their own seasonal content, they would certainly benefit from having special events or variations to keep them from getting stale.
That is where Overcharged Delves come in. Overcharged Delves add some extra challenge to Delves without being too difficult to manage. Not only that, but you can get a powerful upgrade in Overcharged Delves regardless of where you are in endgame progression.

Overcharged Delves, Explained
Put simply, Overcharged Delves are a unique mode found in six Delves across Khaz Algar. Of these six Delves, only two are active per day at any given time. The six Overcharged Delves are as follows.
Delve Name |
Location |
---|---|
Fungal Folly |
Isle of Dorn |
Kreigval’s Rest |
Isle of Dorn |
Nightfall Sanctum |
Hallowfall |
Skittering Breach |
Hallowfall |
The Spiral Weave |
Azj-Kahet |
Sidestreet Sluice |
Undermine |
Unlike Bountiful Delves, Overcharged Delves can be farmed repeatedly rather than once per day. In an Overcharged Delve, you will encounter the following changes:
- Electrified spots on the ground that stun you for a few seconds if you stand in them.
- Additional Construct enemies throughout the Delve.
- Crystals and Conduits that will shoot at you.
In addition, you will gain a unique material called Titan Disc Shards from killing constructs, looted from Mislaid Curiosities, and also from completing Overcharged Delves. These shards can be turned into a Titan Disc once you’ve gathered 100 of them. Inside each Overcharged Delve, there will be an Overcharged Titan Console that you can use to create said Titan Discs.
It is unclear if this is a bug, but you get the same amount of Titan Disc Shards from killing Constructs and from Mislaid Curiosities, regardless of what Tier you are running the Delve on. At present, you don’t get more Titan Disc Shards from running a Delve on a higher Tier.
Overcharged Titan Console
Aside from being used to create Titan Discs, the Overcharged Titan Console provides unique power-ups within Delves. You can use your Titan Discs to unlock the following abilities.
Ability |
Effect |
---|---|
Titanic Pyroblast |
Abilities have a chance to trigger Titanic Pyroblast, which damages your target and stuns them. |
Storm Aura |
Periodically damages all enemies around you. |
Titan Force Shield |
You gain a shield when you fall below 25% health. |
Titanic Speed |
Increases your movement speed while in Delves. |
Overcharged Empowerment |
Overcharged Traps increase your damage for a short time. |
Overcharged Fortification |
Overcharged Traps no longer stun you, deal less damage, and heal you. This effect can stack. |
Inspired Mastery |
Increases your Mastery stat by 7%. |
Tireless Endurance |
Increases your Stamina by 5%. |
Erupting Strength |
Increases your Primary Stat (Strength, Agility, or Intellect) by 5%. |
Titanic Frenzy |
Killing an enemy heals you and increases your haste for a short time. |
If you manage to get enough Titan Discs to unlock every single ability on the Overcharged Titan Console, you will unlock the OC91 Chariot mount. There is also a unique Hearthstone toy you can earn by completing four out of six of the Overcharged Delves.
How to Get the Durable Information Securing Container Belt in World of Warcraft
Dagran Thaurissan II will have a quest chain available for you at the Delver’s Headquarters in Dornogal. This questline teaches you the basics about Overcharged Delves, and at the end of it, you will get a powerful item level 691 belt called Durable Information Securing Container Belt (or D.I.S.C. for short).
This belt has a Prismatic Socket and starts out with 4,620 in your Primary Stat, along with 35,257 Stamina. While the D.I.S.C. is equipped, your spells and abilities have a chance to deal nature damage to a nearby target.
The D.I.S.C. also has a unique effect where you can choose which Titan Disc is currently loaded within it. This determines what effect the D.I.S.C. has in combat. Here are all of your options, provided that you’ve unlocked them.
- Charged Bolts
- Cauterizing Bolts
- Critical Chain
- Spark Burst
- Static Charge
- Electric Current
- Charged Touch
- Energy Shield
- Charged Crystal
Unlike the abilities granted by the Overcharged Titan Console, the active ability on the D.I.S.C. can be used outside Delves. So, if you are still working on beating Mythic Liberation of Undermine or the Underpin on Tier ??, the power granted by this belt will help you achieve your endgame goals.
How to Upgrade the Durable Information Securing Container Belt
Just like with Cyrce’s Circlet in Patch 11.0.7, the D.I.S.C. can be upgraded. Every week, there will be a new quest that gives you a cache of items and an item that increases the item level of the D.I.S.C. by three. The D.I.S.C. will max out at item level 701, making it the most powerful item (at least until Patch 11.2 and the release of Season 3) in the game.
