GTA 6 is Checking One Item Off Players’ Wish Lists if Leaks are True

Grand Theft Auto 6 is one of the most anticipated games in the world right now, and as the wait for the next chapter grows shorter, more leaks have popped up on the internet. GameRoll, who has leaked Grand Theft Auto 6 details in the past, has been making major claims about what the game has in store for players.

It’s important to remember that every leak and rumor should be taken with a grain of salt. However, if this fresh round of claims is proven true, then GTA 6 could feature gameplay mechanics that a lot of gamers are bound to find exciting. GTA 6‘s gameplay details have mostly been kept under wraps, but these leaks may give further insight into what to expect. One of the biggest questions right now is regarding how different it will be from GTA 5, and based on GameRoll’s statements, GTA 6 could be returning to a six-star Wanted level system.

Grand Theft Auto 6 Could Mark the Return of the Six-Star Wanted Level

Bringing In-Game Crime to New Heights

One of the defining features of the GTA franchise is its Wanted system. Over the years, this system has seen a variety of reworks, but the six-star level brings police chases to even greater heights. That said, GTA 5 capped its Wanted system at five stars instead of continuing the past system that had become standard. What makes a six-star level so special is that it calls in military forces to help police take on players. It makes it far more difficult to get away, but it also adds a thrilling level of chaos when trying to evade arrest or avoid being shot down.

Fan theories have suggested that Jason may be an undercover cop, but this is merely speculation.

The lack of a six-star system in GTA 5 could definitely be seen as backsliding, but if GameRoll’s claims hold true, GTA 6 could be gearing up to right one of its predecessor’s biggest wrongs. Even without the Wanted level leaks, there has already been speculation that avoiding the cops in GTA 6 might be a lot harder than in previous games. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed a police car with ghost decals in the game’s second trailer. Of course, this could simply be just for a cut-scene, but it also may be hinting at more well-hidden cops scattered throughout the map.

If that’s the case, the potential return of the six-star Wanted system would likely be even more intense if cops are hiding around any corner. Players could be minding their own business, committing in-game crimes out of sight, only to be surprised by a nearby ghost car. These types of run-ins in GTA 6 can quickly escalate, and bringing military forces into the mix would only make the game’s vibrant-looking world that much more intense and high-stakes.

GameRoll has also claimed that there will be a relationship bar similar to Red Dead Redemption 2‘s honor system.

GTA 6 is Promising One of Rockstar’s Biggest Worlds Yet

Between the leaked details and activities that are actually confirmed by Rockstar, GTA 6 could be one of the developer’s most impressive worlds to date. Still, there is the chance that GameRoll’s claims will be proven false over time, but as of now, Rockstar has yet to make a statement about the leaks.

GTA 5 continues to be hugely successful, but opting for a five-star Wanted level over a six-star system didn’t sit well with some players who preferred the latter. As the year continues, Rockstar will hopefully confirm the existence of a six-star Wanted system in GTA 6, but until then, eager gamers will want to maintain a healthy level of skepticism.
