Xbox Game Pass Already Has 4 Day One Games Confirmed for July 2025

To date, there are four new day one games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in July 2025. To get day one games, Xbox Game Pass subscribers need to make sure that they are signed up for the Ultimate tier. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is the most expensive version of Game Pass, but it comes with everything that the lower tiers do, plus online multiplayer access and exclusive perks, making it a no-brainer for Xbox gamers.

Xbox does a great job of ensuring that Game Pass Ultimate is always worth its asking price by constantly releasing new day one games for the service. The Xbox Game Pass June 2025 lineup is stacked with new day one games like the critically-acclaimed survival game The Alters and co-op FPS FBC: Firebreak, but some subscribers may already be looking ahead to what July is bringing to the table.

The Xbox Game Pass Hot Streak is Getting Ridiculous at This Point

The Xbox Game Pass subscription service has been on a generational roll these last few months, and there really doesn’t seem to be an end in sight.

The Xbox Game Pass July 2025 lineup has yet to be fully fleshed out, but release date announcements have confirmed at least four day one games that are coming to the service next month. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can mark their calendars for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 on July 11, Wheel World on July 23, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers on July 24, and Grounded 2 on July 29. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get to experience most of those games in their entirety, though Grounded 2 will be launching in early access.

Xbox Game Pass Games Coming in July 2025

  • Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 – July 11
  • Wheel World – July 23
  • Wuchang; Fallen Feathers – July 24
  • Grounded 2 (Game Preview) – July 29

For Game Pass subscribers unfamiliar with the new games coming in July 2025, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is a remade collection of the third and fourth Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games. It features the stages and skaters from the original releases, but with some huge gameplay tweaks and massive graphical upgrades. Wheel World, meanwhile, is an open-world racing game with bikes, and it will be playable on July 23.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is a new Soulslike game coming to Game Pass in July that looks very promising, and Grounded 2 is a co-op survival game where players have to survive as miniaturized kids in a Honey, I Shrunk the Kids-style scenario. Grounded 2 will be a part of the Game Preview Program and so it won’t be close to what the final product will be like, but those interested in the concept may want to consider checking out the original Grounded, which is readily available through Game Pass as well.
