Every New Weapon in Lies of P Overture (& How to Get Them)

The Lies of P Overture DLC brings with it a wide range of new weapons for players to use and experiment with. Like the base game, many of the weapons in Overture can be disassembled and mixed to create entirely new creations. Along with the many new melee weapons P has access to, he will also be able to use a bow for the first time, providing a new method of killing puppets and monstrosities from a distance. The update provides players with many powerful tools, and in this guide, we’ll show you where to find every new weapon in the Lies of P Overture DLC.

All New Weapons in Lies of P Overture

In Lies of P Overture, you will have access to ten new weapons, which include seven basic weapons, which are found in the game world, and three special weapons, which are acquired through boss fights. This guide will introduce each new weapon chronologically, as they become available in the game. The new weapons are as follows:

Royal Horn Bow Location in Lies of P Overture

The Royal Horn Bow is both a new weapon type, and the first new weapon you will encounter in Lies of P Overture. To find the Royal Horn Bow, you’ll want to start at the Hall of Adventure Stargazer, the second Fast-Travel point you unlock in the DLC. From the giant mammoth, head up the stair case on the right, then, when you reach the top, turn right and head follow the path past the top of the stairs. This will lead to a new upstairs chamber.

Head through the chamber until you reach the end, then take a right down the long corridor with two small gorilla-type enemies that burst through the windows. When you reach the end, take the ladder down to the lower level, then defeat the elephant-type enemy. Head back up the large staircase, and turn to the right. You’ll see the path along the stairs in blocked, so make your way through the back chamber. At the end of the chamber, return to the path overlooking the lower chamber, and you’ll find the Royal Horn Bow in a chest at the end of the path.

Royal Horn Bow Stats:

Remember, the second number in the Physical ATK stat will depend on your Motivity and Technique levels in this case. That is the number that changes when you level these skills.

Lorenzini Bolt Location in Lies of P Overture

The Lorenzini Bolt is the second weapon you can find in Lies of P Overture. To find this weapon, you’ll want to start at the Jungle Zone Walkway, the third Stargazer in Chapter 1. Follow the main path past the tree where you can collect the Golden Seed, then when you get to the broken bridge over the frozen river, drop to the river and turn left.

Progress until you reach the higher-level enemy with the massive spear arms. Just beyond that enemy, you’ll see a group of icicles with a small cave behind them. Destroy the icicles to reveal a chest, which contains the Lorenzini Bolt.

Maniac’s Pinwheel Location in Lies of P Overture

The Maniac’s Pinwheel is an extremely fun greatsword found in the carnival section near the end of Chapter 1. To collect this weapon, you’ll need at least one Carnival Coin.

From the Stargazer out front of the carnival, head through the main gate, past the Clown Knock-Down, and up the ramp to the circular courtyard. Next, head to the right and go up the path with the smaller set of stairs. At the top of the ramp, you’ll see one of the stationary puppets that lobs bombs. Destroy that enemy, and the few others at the top of the ramp. Once that is done, you’ll see a carnical booth in front of a circus tent. Interact with the puppet, and pay your Carnical Coin.

Head inside the tent, and you’ll find a massive game of whack-a-mole. Here, the goal is to destroy 12 puppets before the time runs out. You’ll see a set of 12 lights above the large clown puppet that lets you know how close you are to your goal. Once you destroy 12, the game will stop, the large clown puppet with blow up, and a blue item marker will show up on the ground. Pick up the item, which is the Maniac’s Pinwheel.

If you are struggling to destroy all 12 puppets, try slowing down and acting methodically. Try using a weapon that swings horizontally in front of you, as that will help ensure you get a hit. You cannot lock-on to these puppets, so its best not to rush.

Death’s Talons Location in Lies of P Overture

Death’s Talons are the first weapons you can get from Klaus, the Ergo merchant in Eventide Hotel Krat. This works the same as trading Ergo for special weapons in the base game. You’ll find Klaus through the door to the left of the record player.

To get the Death’s Talons, you’ll need to defeat Markonia, the main boss of Chapter 1. She will drop the Macabre Puppeteer’s Ergo, which you can exchange for the weapon.

Puppet of the Future’s Welder Location in Lies of P

The Puppet of the Future’s Welder is found early in Chapter 2, in the underground system of cells and industrial chambers. The best way to go about looking for this weapon, is to wait until you’ve unlocked the first major shortcut back to the Zealtor Underground Facility Stargazer, which is a small elevator lift.

Starting from this Stargazer, head back down to the facility using the lift, where you’ll find yourself in the area with two large lower chambers. One of the lower chambers has the large enemy that spits streams of acid. You want to make your way down to this chamber by dropping down the hole with no ladder, then break the wood that’s blocking the exit to the cell.. After you defeat the spitting enemy, use the ladder to exit the chamber and climb to the path above.

After climbing the ladder, turn right and open the shortcut to the other side of the path. Then turn around and defeat the large enemy with the red-hot poker. Head into the cell at the end of the path, and drop to the lower level. There, a powerful enemy will burst through the wall. Defeat the enemy and you’ll find the Puppet of the Future’s Welder in a chest.

La Vendetta Location in Lies of P Overture

La Vendetta is a large blunt weapon that can be found after the mid point of chapter 2, once you’ve defeated Veronique. Once that has occurred, you will see the areas previously filled with frozen gas can now be accessed. Return to the first Stargazer in the area, and make your way down to the area previously filled with the freeze mist.

On the right, you’ll see a tunnel that you can now enter. Make your way through the chambers until you reach the room with the three white butterflies that reward you with an Ancient Disk when you defeat it. From there, head up the stairs and on to the chamber with the rolling mini-boss. After you defeat the mini-boss, look for the small chamber with the chest containing La Vendetta.

Arche’s Guardian Location in Lies of P Overture

Arche’s Guardian is the first weapon you’ll encounter in Chapter 3. You’ll know you are about to reach the desired location in the mines when you reach the Crusher Puppet NPC for the first time. It is found on the ledge directly above the Ergo Mining Site Startgazer. You’ll have to work your way up to the ledge, but the NPC will let you know you are just about there.

From the Crusher Puppet, head along the path to the left and drop back onto the main path. Turn right, and head past the old broken robot. Just past the robot, you’ll see the Stargazer on the level below. Continue until you cross a small wooden bridge, after which you’ll encounter the puppet dog enemy before a rocky corridor. Defeat the dog, then turn left, and you’ll see another dog and a floating bomb near a small path down a ledge. Kill the enemies and follow the path. At the end, you’ll find a chest containing Arche’s Guardian Blade & Handle.

Pale Knight Location in Lies of P Overture

Pale Knight is the second special weapon you’ll be able to acquire with Ergo in Lies of P Overture. For many, this greatsword will be one of the most powerful weapons in the game. It is very anime-friendly, with its massive blade, and revolver handle.

To get Pale Knight, you must defeat the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins at the end of Chapter 3. You can then trade the Tortured Guardian’s Ergo to Klaus at the Eventide Hotel Krat for Pale Knight.

Silent Evangelists’ Mace Location in Lies of P Overture

The final basic weapon in Lies of P Overture is the Silent Evangelists’ Mace, and it is found late in Chapter 4. The best way to find this weapon is to make your way all the way to the Frozen Coast Stargazer and work your way back just a bit. The weapon can be found in the ship wreckage that the lighthouse points at.

From the Frozen Coast Stargazer, turn around and make your way up the ramp and back into the wrecked ship. Use the ladder directly ahead of you and make your way to the upper level. At the top of the ladder, exit the chamber and make a left. Continue until you see another ramp made of broken wood on the left. Take that up to the top level of the ship.

At the top of the ramp, turn left and you’ll see three enemies in long black coats. Defeat them, then head to the edge of the ship on the right side of the bowsprit. There, you’ll find a chest that contains the weapon.

Monad’s Rose Sword Location in Lies of P Overture

The best weapon in the game is both the easiest to get, and the hardest. To acquire Monad’s Rose Sword, you’ll simply need to defeat the final boss of Lies of P Overture. We won’t spoil who that is here, as it is not exactly important to the question. This time, you won’t have to trade any Ergo. You’ll simply get the weapon after the fight. Good luck.
