Firaxis Games has revealed an overview of the upcoming update for Sid Meier’s Civilization 7. According to a new blog post, this is one of the most content-packed updates for Civilization 7, introducing long-awaited features, advanced options, and several improvements based on testing and community feedback.

Civilization 7 was released in February 2025, nine years after its predecessor. In this new chapter of the acclaimed turn-based strategy game series, the game is divided into three ages – Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern. Taking on the role of a legendary leader from a diverse cast, players must lead their civilization to progress by building cities and architectural wonders, making technological discoveries, and expanding their territory by conquering or cooperating with rival nations. Aiming to keep Civilization 7 an engaging experience, the developers have revealed what’s coming next.
