Invincible VS Announced, Game to be Released in 2026 for PC and Consoles
According to the official release, Invincible VS will feature an original narrative written by Robert Kirkman and a “captivating cinematic story mode.” Players can expect the arcade mode to play with their teams, a training mode to improve their combos, and multiplayer to test their skills against other players online. Fans will also notice that the gameplay trailer is quite graphic, similar to what Mortal Kombat players are used to. This detail is not a surprise, however, as Invincible is famous for its brutal fights. The developers promise that the game will feature powerful Super moves and Ultimate moves for players to unleash against opponents.
The fact that Invincible VS is a fighting game is interesting, as after Omni-Man’s appearance in Mortal Kombat 1 as a DLC character, there was curiosity about what it would be like if the famous comic book series had its own fighting game. The project becomes even more compelling because it is led by former members of the 2013 Killer Instinct development team. With confirmation that the talent involved has previous experience with fighting games, Invincible VS has the potential to be a memorable fighting game.
