Star Rail Leak Teases Characters for New Path

A recent leak from Honkai: Star Rail is hinting at three new characters coming as part of the game’s next new Path, featuring a new version of a fan favorite. Alongside the plethora of new characters added to the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG since the game’s launch, Honkai: Star Rail has introduced plenty of major changes to both its various game modes and the gameplay itself. HoYoverse has rolled out multiple new versions of the “Simulated Universe” game mode, new worlds to explore, and even a new playable Path. Now, yet another Path may be coming to Star Rail.

Honkai: Star Rail‘s Paths serve as one of the core parts of the game’s roster of characters, serving as an equivalent to other RPGs’ “classes.” Paths often determine the type of role characters fill within Honkai: Star Rail teams, with Hunt and Erudition characters leaning more toward damage roles, while Harmony and Abundance characters are typically support units. Amphoreus recently added a new Path to the game with its release, introducing the Remembrance Path focused around Memosprites. New information is now hinting at the game’s next playable Path.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Hints at New Elation Characters

A new update shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Luna is hinting at three units coming with the new Elation Path. The new Path will feature a brand-new version of popular Penacony character Sparkle, with Sparkle following the Path of Elation in the story despite her in-game status as a Harmony character. Alongside the expected Elation version of the Trailblazer, Star Rail will also reportedly finally introduce its own version of fan-favorite Honkai Impact 3rd character Yae Sakura as an Ice Elation unit. The leak does not share any details about when the Elation Path will be added to the game.

The addition of Elation to Honkai: Star Rail could give some major hints about the next world coming to the sci-fi RPG. Recent leaks from Honkai: Star Rail have heavily suggested that Edo Star will be the newest playable world in Version 4.0, with the world expected to feature Japan-themed aesthetics. Edo Star was also previously mentioned as a potential option for the Astral Express’ next stop within Honkai: Star Rail‘s story. HoYoverse has yet to introduce any major characters known to hail from Edo Star.

Honkai: Star Rail‘s upcoming patches look to be bringing plenty of exciting new additions to the game’s roster. Version 3.4 will finally welcome the long-awaited release of the Fate/Stay Night collaboration, with both Saber and Archer joining the game as playable characters. Amphoreus is also expected to continue to introduce new playable characters, with new cast members like Hysilens and Cyrene rumored to appear. Summer is set to be a blockbuster season for Honkai: Star Rail with a plethora of major content on the way.
