A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is hinting at the stacked lineup of re-run banners set to appear during the Version 3.4 update, with ten different characters returning. The next update to the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG is looking to be one of the game’s most exciting patches yet, with lots of major content on the way. Honkai: Star Rail will officially welcome its first crossover during Version 3.4, bringing Archer and Saber from Fate/Stay Night to the game alongside a special event. Now, lots of beloved past characters are set to make their return as well.
While many fans’ focus for Version 3.4 rests on the Fate/Stay Night crossover, the next update to Honkai: Star Rail is bringing some major changes beyond the collab. HoYoverse will roll out its first new buffs for several of Honkai: Star Rail‘s older characters during Version 3.4, with Blade, Silver Wolf, Kafka, and Jingliu receiving boosts. The update will also add one new in-universe character to Star Rail‘s roster, with Phainon finally making his playable debut after appearing prominently within the story of Amphoreus. A new update shared by Honkai: Star Rail leaker Anon Leaks is teasing ten different characters receiving re-runs during Version 3.4. The update’s first half is expected to feature the release of new character Phainon alongside three popular Harmony characters, with Tribbie, Sparkle, and Sunday all expected to be available. The second half of Version 3.4 is said to include a re-run of Firefly alongside the four previously-mentioned characters receiving buffs within the update. Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 3.4 is currently expected to launch on July 2.

The multitude of re-runs banners during Version 3.4 will make ten different five-star characters available through the gacha system, including the new collab banner. Saber’s collab banner in Version 3.4 was hinted by HoYoverse to be running longer than normal banners, potentially even beyond the conclusion of the update. The re-runs will notably also feature one character recently added to the game’s standard rotation of characters, with Blade available both through his banner and as an option for losing the 50/50.
Even before Version 3.4’s release, Honkai: Star Rail fans already have plenty of exciting options to add to their in-game teams. The ongoing Version 3.3 made a fan-favorite member of Amphoreus’ cast available to play, with Hyacine joining the playable roster as a Wind Remembrance healer with the update’s release. The second half of the patch will also welcome Cipher to the game as a Quantum Nihility character, best suited to fill the role of sub-DPS. Honkai: Star Rail‘s roster looks to be seeing some exciting updates for both old and new characters coming soon.
