Requirements to Romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077
In order to romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077, players must have selected the Female Body Type when they were creating their V, and they must be using the Feminine Voice Tone. Without both of these options active, players will be unable to romance Judy. There is no way to change V’s Body Type in-game, so players will have to select New Game and try again. If players are already playing as Female V, then they just need to progress through the Main Quests that involve Judy, which are listed below in the following order:
- The Information
- Automatic Love
- The Space in Between
- Disasterpiece
- Double Life
The dialogue and choices that players make during these Main Quests will not impact Judy’s romance.
Complete Both Sides, Now
24 hours after players complete Double Life, Judy will call V and urgently ask them to come to her apartment in Northside Watson. Once players arrive, they are met with a disturbing scene involving Evelyn Parker, and the dialogue at this point relies on players comforting Judy and agreeing to help her. Players can begin by lifting Evelyn’s body and taking her to the bedroom, and no dialogue matters for this quest so long as players actually complete it and leave Judy’s apartment.
Complete Ex-Factor
Once players have completed Both Sides, Now, players will need to wait for Judy to message V. This message may take a few in-game hours, but the best way to trigger Judy’s next quest is to head to Tangos Tors Motel in the far south of the map, and simply AFK in this spot until Judy texts. After she does, wait 24 in-game hours for her to call. It’s important that during this call that players select the option: Yeah, I’ll help. Upon doing so, head to Clouds and meet up with Judy to meet with Maiko. The dialogue here doesn’t matter, and V is free to say whatever she wants to Judy, as the outcome is the same. However, once players reach the elevator to leave Clouds, Judy will ask if they should kill Woodman. It does not matter if Judy and V kill Woodman or not, but for this playthrough, we thought it best to indulge in Judy’s desire for revenge against Woodman to show her that killing him won’t solve anything. With Woodman dead, take the elevator to the ground floor, and Ex-Factor will complete.
Complete Talkin’ ’bout a Revolution
Like before, wait for Judy to message, and a few in-game hours later, Judy will call. Judy’s phone call will send players to her apartment, but not before she asks V what she likes on her pizza. The option here does not matter, but Locust Pepperoni and lots of extra cheese help to gain Judy’s approval. Select I’ll be there as the dialogue option when Judy asks if V will come, and then head to her apartment. This side quest is relatively straightforward, and players just need to listen to Judy and the Dolls talk. The important dialogue comes from when V sits on the couch and talks to Judy, where players want to select the following options:
- You can count on me.
- Out of the question.
- Forget about it. It’s passed.
- [Lean] Sure, thanks.
Once V wakes up in Judy’s apartment, leaves the building, and the quest will be completed.
Complete Pisces
The penultimate quest in Judy’s questline and romance path is Pisces. To start the quest, players are once again going to have to wait for Judy to message, and Tangos Tors Motel is a great spot to skip time and go AFK in waiting. Judy will message twice, firstly about how she had a good night, and then players must wait again for the final text about meeting her at Megabuilding H8. The quest itself is easy if players follow the waypoints, and it doesn’t matter if players kill the Tyger Claws on their way to the penthouse or not. There is only one crucial part that matters, which is during the meeting with Maiko and the Tyger Claws bosses:
- Let’s do this.
- Who’re the other two?
- Do my best. Jack ’em out.
- Hold on. Think you’ve gone too far.
- [Draw weapon] Let’s cut to the quick.
- What?
- You tried to cheat us all.
If players help Maiko take over Clouds and then accept her money, they will never be able to romance Judy. It’s extremely important that players do not take her money. The best outcome is to kill the Tyger Claws by siding with Judy, and then use fists to take out Maiko through non-lethal means and leave her alive and unconscious. When players return to Judy, she will give V a kiss. If players did end up killing Maiko, then they would still get the final quest for Judy’s romance, but they would not get the kiss at Pisces.
Complete Pyramid Song
After completing Pisces, players will have to wait another in-game day until Judy calls V and asks her to meet her. Players will want to agree to meet her, and then agree to go diving with her by selecting the dialogue option: [Stand] Hell yeah, I’m in!
This underwater mission is a tad long, but once players resurface to the water, they can get their romance scene with Judy and begin a relationship with her through the following options:
- [Stand] Why not.
- [Touch] It is ours.
- The beginning of something amazing.
With Pyramid Song completed, Judy is now V’s girlfriend, and V has unlimited access to Judy’s apartment to sleep there and spend time with Judy.
