In Zelda The Wind Waker, a gang of kids has been causing trouble for the island residents of Windfall Island, especially their teacher, Mrs. Marie. Walk up to the top of the island, and you’ll notice these four kids will start following Link, as if they are trying to get in his face and start something. Talk to their teacher in the classroom, and you will be sent back to their leader, Ivan, to deal with the troublemakers.

Ivan will offer Link a challenge: the Killer Bees hide-and-seek minigame. If you can find all Killer Bee hiding locations, The Wind Waker players will progress this quest, earn a few rewards (including a Heart Piece) and unlock the ability to gift Joy Pendants to Mrs. Marie for more rewards.
All Killer Bee Hiding Spots In The Wind Waker
Where To Find All Four Killer Bee Hide And Seek Locations
Killer Bee Location #1
The first Killer Bee you can find is close to the start point of the hide and seek minigame.
Next to the stairs that lead upward to the Auction House, walk through the archway and turn left to find Jan behind a bush.
After the cutscene plays, jump down the cliff and use your Attack roll to chase down Jan until you catch her.
Killer Bee Location #2
After you catch Jan, head behind the Bomb Shop to find the second Killer Bee hide and seek location.
Walk up to the left side of the shop and sidle along the thin ledge to get to the rear of the building. Here you will find Jin – once again, jump down the cliff and chase down Jin to catch him.
Killer Bee Location #3
After finding the second Killer Bee behind the Bomb Shop, go to the Windfall Island docks and roll into the large tree (the one next to the old man who is alerted whenever Link are nearby).
The leader of the Killer Bees, Ivan, will drop down from the top of the tree. Wait for the cutscene to play out, then chase him down and catch him, too.

Killer Bee Location #4
The final Killer Bee can be found behind the gravestone at the top of the overhang above the King of Red Lions’ hiding spot.
This is opposite the room where you can free Tingle. You should see a dancing woman in front of the gravestone – simply walk behind it and you will find Jun. Chase him down and catch him to complete the Wind Waker Hide and Seek minigame!
Wind Waker Hide & Seek Minigame Reward
For finding every Killer Bee, The Wind Waker players will get two rewards: a Piece of Heart, and the ability to continue the Killer Bee and Mrs. Marie’s questlines. Talk to Mrs. Marie after you get the Piece of Heart, then return and talk to Ivan.
He will tell you that it’s about to be Mrs. Marie’s birthday and she particularly loves jewelry – and he happens to know where to find a Joy Pendant on the island.
Follow Ivan’s instructions (hint: the tree next to the Bomb Shop) and give Mrs. Marie the Joy Pendant you find. From then on, you can gift Mrs. Marie Joy Pendants to receive special rewards at specific milestones.
