In a recent post on Twitter, FromSoftware announced that it will be taking down Elden Ring Nightreign‘s servers at 1 AM PDT on June 6 for maintenance that’s meant to address matchmaking issues. However, the post specifically states that the update addresses matchmaking issues associated with Remembrance quests. Apparently, some gamers have been having problems launching an expedition with an active Remembrance quest, which can halt a character’s progress and stop them from receiving useful rewards. The maintenance is expected to last for two hours.
Elden Ring Nightreign Is Releasing an Update on June 6
While the tweet did state that the update is going to address matchmaking issues, the focus on Remembrance quests may not address all of its problems. It was recently reported that Xbox Series X/S players are having matchmaking issues in Elden Ring Nightreign. According to multiple players, the issues seem to be related to trying to play with friends. Several people stated that they were able to launch expeditions with random players, but couldn’t link up with any of their friends. It’s an issue that has caused a lot of frustration for some members of the community, and they were hoping the game’s 1.01.1 update would provide some kind of solution.
Elden Ring Nightreign‘s June 2 patch didn’t fix matchmaking issues on Xbox Series X/S, but it did make improvements to solo play. According to the patch notes, solo players will now earn more runes during their expedition, allowing them to level up more before facing off against the title’s fiercest bosses. The patch also implemented a change that allows gamers to revive one time per night boss, making runs a little more forgiving. With so much content to enjoy and DLC coming out later in 2025, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Elden Ring Nightreign.
