Even though players can reach and defeat the first boss in their initial run, it is more likely that they will die and be transported back to the main hub of Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. When players arrive at the Sanctuary for the first time, they can interact with the Drawbridge to the left, which prompts Aleksandra to mention that there should be a way to lower it.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die Review
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is an action roguelike follow-up to the original that balances its narrative pull with some phenomenal combat.
To unlock this, players must complete a major step that allows them to access the other side of the Drawbridge and even obtain a garment along the way. This guide offers information on where to find the Drawbridge Key in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die.
How To Open the Drawbridge in the Sanctuary in Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
From the Sanctuary, make your way to the Mysterious Portal where you must start a new run and make your way to the boss of the first area, Spear Armor of Sixtopia & Mace Armor of Sixtopia. This duo boss fight is quite tough and might require a few runs before you can best them. If the sword isn’t working out for you, be sure to check out the other weapons Rack has available in his shop once you complete his quest.
After the boss has been dealt with, you can proceed to acquire health and other items that will be useful in the second area coming up next. Apart from the four items on the slabs, you can also find the Drawbridge Key. Whenever you die next time and go back to the Sanctuary, make your way to the Drawbridge. Interact with it and go on over to the other side to find Wager Rollins, who you can talk to. There is also a garment, Veil of a Hero’s Return, on the left.
At the end of this small area, you can find Chance, who will inform you that what you see before you is the gate to the Kingdom of Random, but before you open it, you need to defeat Mare the Knight.
