A Pokemon fan has shared an incredible encounter their four-year-old experienced in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with the community, and the shiny chasers are amazed. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were first released back in 2022 with Game Freak at the helm, and serve as the first entry in the video game series’ ninth generation. The games’ cover art featured the pocket monsters Koraidon and Miraidon, and players were treated to a wave of additional post-launch content too.

The DLC content was then followed by the post-game expansion, Mochi Mayhem, at the beginning of 2024. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players have a Seven-Star Tera Raid to look forward to at the end of June, which will reportedly feature Baxcalibur the Unrivaled, and one young player is already getting in plenty of practice at catching rarities in the game.

The original poster revealed the player was their four-year-old son, who managed to find the rare shiny. Fortunately, the OP realized it was a shiny Pokemon before their four-year-old decided to defeat it with a critical strike.
