Xur Exotic Armor, Weapon, and Recommendations for June 13

Xur has returned again to Destiny 2, complete with new exotic and legendary gear for players to check out for a limited time. A new week means new details have once again arrived for the anticipated Edge of Fate expansion. This week, Bungie outlined how vendors like Ada-1 and Banshee-44 are evolving, while also confirming big changes coming to Destiny 2 activities like Gambit and Iron Banner.

Along those same lines, players may feel the loot-chasing bug once again as the Edge of Fate overhauls the Destiny 2 armor system. Starting with that expansion, armor will drop in a new tier system, with higher values offering better stats, perks, and bonuses. In addition, specific gear will offer set bonuses for players who wear multiple peices from the same outfit.

Destiny 2 Weekly Reset: New Nightfall, Challenges, and Rewards

The weekly reset for Destiny 2 is live and here are all of the new details including Nightfall strike, seasonal missions, challenges, and much more.

With the weekend now here, the exotic merchant Xur has returned with a new inventory of gear for Destiny 2 players. Follow this guide for his current weekend location, news on his exotic cipher quest, as well as a review of all the exotic and legendary gear he’s brought for the weekend of June 13, 2025.

Where is Xur?

Xur has taken up permanent residence in the Bazaar area inside The Tower, so there’s no more hunting needed when the weekend comes around.

Destiny 2 Xur

Since the Bazaar is located between both fast travel points, players can pick either one to load into. Head into the area where Ikora and Hawthorne are hanging out and look for the Ramen Shop towards the back wall. While facing the shop, the alley hiding Xur is to the right.

Destiny 2 Exotic Class Armor

Xur’s role has continued to expand and evolve over the years. Alongside The Final Shape expansion, Xur’s inventory in Destiny 2 expanded even more, moving back to Strange Coins as the currency of choice and features rank rewards, resources, and, of course, armor and weapons.

Apotheosis Veil – Warlock helmet

Exotic Perks:

  • Insatiable – Immediately regenerate health, melee, grenade, and Rift energy for you and your nearby allies upon activating your Super. After your Super ends, temporarily gain greatly increased melee and grenade regen.

Technically, the lowest roll of the trio this week, though it’s still a tough one to recommend. There isn’t a big reason to pick this one over other exotics.

Stat Values (65 Total):

  • Mobility +15
  • Resilience +3
  • Recovery +17
  • Discipline +2
  • Intellect +15
  • Strength +13
destiny 2 aeon swift

Aeon Swift – Hunter gauntlets

Exotic Perk:

  • Aeon’s Wrath – Rapid precision hits with a weapon temporarily increase reload speed and weapon swap speed.
  • Foebreaker Chant – Stunning a Champion or landing rapid precision hits on a powerful combatant will mark them. Your allies deal increased damage to marked combatants. When a combatant is first marked, nearby Aeon Cult allies who do not have the Sect of Force role equipped gain grenade and melee energy.

Not much has changed since this was last offered with Xur. It’s still a much better exotic than its original version, but it’s still not going to compete with the current top meta picks. The roll is pretty high, so it may be worth grabbing to replace a lesser role.

Stat Values (68 Total):

  • Mobility +21
  • Resilience +12
  • Recovery +3
  • Discipline +2
  • Intellect +10
  • Strength +20
destiny 2 synthoceps

Synthoceps – Titan gauntlets

Exotic Perk:

  • Biotic Enhancements
    – When you’re surrounded, gain increased melee and Super damage, as well as improved weapon handling and reload speed.

Of the three this weekend, this is the easiest one to recommend, which empowers the player with better melee, reload speed, weapon handling, and Super damage when surrounded. Whether that’s PvP or PvE, that’s a very common occurrence, so the perk is easy to trigger.

Stat Values (67 total):

  • Mobility +20
  • Resilience +11
  • Recovery +3
  • Discipline +14
  • Intellect +12
  • Strength +7
