A popular Fortnite leaker has revealed that a new mode called “Expeditions” could be coming to LEGO Fortnite in an upcoming update. Fortnite recently concluded its Galactic Battle mini-season, which added Star Wars characters, locations, and items to many of the title’s game modes.
Epic Games recently added two AI NPCs to LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, which utilizes the same technology as Darth Vader from the game’s recent Galactic Battle mini-season. However, the LEGO NPCs, Noir and Slurp Leviathan, can’t be spoken with directly. Instead, they will simply offer unique reactions to things happening around them. When Darth Vader was added to the game, players were able to add him to their party and speak with him through the microphone.

Fortnite Is Suing Player Who Created Cheat Software
Epic Games files a lawsuit against a player who has been accused of creating and selling software that allows gamers to cheat in Fortnite.
In a recent post on Twitter, the prominent leaker Loolo_WRLD revealed that LEGO Fortnite could be receiving a new game mode called “Expeditions.” According to them, this new experience will be accessible through bus stations in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and LEGO Fortnite Brick Life. Loolo_WRLD has claimed that the game mode is currently code-named “Mars,” and it could be arriving with the game’s upcoming 36.10 update. If the rumor is true, these expeditions will offer limited-time experiences that gamers can enjoy together through co-op. Furthermore, fans may be able to customize the difficulty of these expeditions, allowing players to challenge themselves as much or as little as they would like.
LEGO Fortnite Could Be Introducing ‘Expeditions’
Expeditions may not be the only new game mode coming to Fortnite, as leakers recently claimed that some big changes could be coming to Fortnite OG in the near future. According to the leaker HYPEX, Epic Games may be removing bots from the standard versions of Fortnite OG and Fortnite OG Zero Build. Currently, lobbies are made up of both players and bots, but it hasn’t always been that way. When Fortnite OG first released in December 2024, lobbies were only made up of authentic players. Bots were added to the mode when Epic Games added skill-based matchmaking. HYPEX has claimed that, if bots are removed from Fortnite OG, Epic Games may add a casual version of the game mode where lobbies would consist of 12 players and 88 bots.
Some fans believe Epic Games is trying to figure out what players want from the classic game mode, as it recently removed two versions of Fortnite OG from the game. First, the ranked version of Fortnite OG Zero Build was removed from Fortnite due to “matchmaking health.” Shortly after that, Epic Games removed the ranked version of Fortnite OG’s basic mode that includes building. The potential removal of bots and addition of a casual mode seems like an attempt to appease the vast majority of players. Despite a few hiccups here and there, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
