Marvel Rivals has outlined what players can expect to see when its newest update, which is filled with bug fixes and a wide variety of cosmetics, goes live on June 12. NetEase Games recently released Marvel Rivals‘ major Season 2.5 update, which added the popular villain Ultron to the title’s ever-expanding roster.

Marvel Rivals recently launched its new Ultron’s Battle Matrix Protocol game mode, which brought a whole new level of strategy to the game. Instead of choosing one character, players put together a whole team of heroes to face off against foes in tactical grid-based combat. It’s unlike anything players have experienced in the popular hero shooter before, which has intrigued many fans. The game mode is out now and will be available through June 23.

Marvel Rivals Wolverine Weapon X Skin is Causing Some Controversy

Marvel Rivals’ most recent Weapon X skin for the Duelist Wolverine is making some waves in the popular hero shooter’s community.

In a recent post on Twitter, NetEase Games announced it will be deploying the popular hero shooter’s next patch on June 12. The patch won’t require any downtime, which means players will simply need to update their game and reboot their client to enjoy all the benefits of the update. Marvel Rivals recently revealed Future Foundation skins for Invisible Woman and The Thing, which will be released in the game’s shop on June 12 at 7 PM PDT. As of writing, there’s no official word on just how much the cosmetics will cost.

NetEase Games also announced that some fan-favorite skins will be coming back to Marvel Rivals. According to the patch notes, the returning skins will be available from June 13 through June 20. The update also includes a wide variety of bug fixes, including one that prevents Jeff the Land Shark from zooming around the map after utilizing his team-up with the Duelist Storm.

Fans who like the Future Foundation skins for The Thing and Invisible Woman may be pleased to learn that they can claim a similar costume for Mister Fantastic in Marvel Rivals. The popular Duelist’s Future Foundation skin can be found in the Combat Chest that launched with Season 2.5. While many of the cosmetics in the Combat Chest require players to spend Lattice, Mister Fantastic’s Future Foundation skin can be earned for free. Many players seem to be wondering when Spider-Man’s Future Foundation skin will be released, as he’s featured in the MVP animation for Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, and The Thing. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
