Some members of the community have discovered that Epic Games added a “Suitcase of Patience” to Fortnite with the launch of Chapter 6 Season 3, which takes roughly 10 minutes to open in the middle of a match. Fortnite recently concluded its Galactic Battle mini-season, which allowed players to blow up the Death Star before falling back to the island with the launch of Chapter 6 Season 3.
The latest season of Fortnite has introduced major DC superheroes like Superman and Robin to the battle royale, but Epic Games made a major change to its usual battle pass. For people who purchase the Chapter 6 Season 3 battle pass (or subscribe to Fortnite Crew), Superman is scheduled to unlock on July 11 alongside James Gunn’s upcoming film based on the character. However, Fortnite is giving players the opportunity to claim Superman early if they purchase the Battle Bundle in the game’s Item Shop. The Battle Bundle is priced at 1,800 V-Bucks and also gives players 25 levels of battle pass rewards. While the Battle Bundle itself is nothing new, Fortnite has never given players the ability to unlock a battle pass skin before its release date by spending extra money.

Fortnite Has Made a Major Change to Its Battle Pass
Fortnite surprises players by revealing that it has made a major change to the battle pass in Chapter 6 Season 3 of Epic Games’ popular battle royale.
In a recent post on Twitter, the popular leaker Loolo_WRLD posted information about the “Suitcase of Patience,” which was introduced in Chapter 6 Season 3 of Fortnite and can be found near Foxy Floodgates and Crackshot’s Cabin. The suitcase takes a full 10 minutes to open in the middle of a match and rewards players with Epic-level loot for doing so. In a post on Reddit, one person asked if anyone had actually managed to open the suitcase yet. Several people responded that they had and confirmed that it took 10 minutes to open. One person asked if multiple people could try to open the suitcase together to speed up the process, which works when trying to revive or reboot teammates. Unfortunately, another person said they’d tried opening it with a friend, and it still took the full 10 minutes.
Fortnite’s Suitcase of Patience Takes 10 Minutes to Open
Some people pointed out that, while the Suitcase of Patience is a fun little addition to the game, it might not be worth the 10 minutes. Fortnite recently introduced Hero Ranks, which players can use to open Hero Caches with better and better loot. Instead of spending 10 minutes opening the Suitcase of Patience, players could increase their Hero Rank by eliminating players, defeating henchmen, surviving storm circles, or returning sprites to shrines.
Sprites have been given a makeover in Fortnite, as blue sprites can now be seen wearing a little red cape and have Superman’s emblem on their chest. Gamers can also pick up these sprites and use them to attack enemies, as the Superman sprites can shoot lasers from their eyes. With a whole new season to explore and even more content on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
