A Pokemon fan artist took to social media to share their interpretations of what new evolution forms for Zangoose and Seviper would look like if either creature were capable of evolving. The Pokemon fan artist also shared the names and types of these conceptual Zangoose and Seviper forms, along with brief Pokedex entries that explain how they evolved.
Known respectively as the Cat Ferret Pokemon and the Fang Snake Pokemon, Zangoose and Seviper first appeared in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Zangoose was exclusive to Pokemon Ruby, while Seviper could only be found and caught in Pokemon Sapphire. Zangoose is known for its white and red body markings, while Seviper bears gold scales across its dark coils. According to Pokedex entries from across the Pokemon franchise, Zangoose and Seviper have a bitter feud that has persisted across the Hoenn region and beyond. In the Pokemon anime, Team Rocket’s Jessie once used a Seviper on her missions across Hoenn and Sinnoh.

Game Freak Trademark Could Hint at New Pokemon Release
A new trademark filed by Game Freak appears to indicate that a new Pokemon release is in the works, and it could arrive before the end of the year.
Although Zangoose and Seviper are two Pokemon that are not known to evolve into or from any other creatures, a Pokemon fan artist recently gave each of them a different look. Reddit user FallinDevast posted an image on the r/Pokemon subreddit showing what they believed Zangoose and Seviper could evolve into. The evolved Zangoose was called Zengoose and was given the type pairing of Normal and Psychic. As for Seviper, it evolved into the Poison and Dark dual-type Hissassin. Zengoose’s red markings were changed to orange and black, and it was shown in a meditative pose after finding peace following the end of its feud with Seviper. By comparison, Hissassin wore a dark cloak, and its spiked tail was changed to have a scythe-like appendage. Hissassin was stated to have evolved from among the last remaining Seviper following the rivalry with Zangoose, as they went into hiding and blended into the shadows.

While uncommon, Zengoose’s Normal and Psychic dual-typing is shared with creatures like Oranguru and the Girafarig line. Hissassin’s Poison and Dark-type combination is used by monsters like Overqwil and Alolan Muk. No other information about Zengoose or Hissassin was provided. In response, Pokemon fans complimented FallinDevast for their creativity, particularly with Hissassin’s name and the lore behind the aftermath of the Zangoose and Seviper rivalry.
As it stands, neither Zangoose nor Seviper are officially capable of evolving in the Pokemon series. With Pokemon Legends: Z-A heralding the return of Mega Evolution, it remains to be seen if either Zangoose or Seviper will receive new forms in the upcoming title.
