Diablo 4 Reveals Season 9 Twitch Drop

Diablo 4 has announced a new Twitch Drop that will be given out on June 27. This item will be available in celebration of the upcoming broadcast Diablo 4 developers will host on Amazon’s platform to talk more about what’s coming next for the game.

Season 8 kicked off on April 29, and one of the most anticipated additions was the return of Belial to Diablo 4. The iconic Diablo 3 character has become one of the new lair boss challenges alongside Urivar and the Harbinger of Hatred. Another new feature that players talked a lot about was the rework of the battle pass, which introduced new ways for players to earn rewards. Diablo 4 Season 8 is starting to wind down, and to increase the hype for the coming months, a new freebie will be available soon.

With Diablo 4 Season 9’s meta builds starting to become clear, one high-tier setup may not be viable for all players once the season starts.

Blizzard has announced a new Diablo 4 Twitch Drop, and players will be able to obtain the Lacuni’s Pupil two-handed Sorcerer staff on Friday, June 27. To add the new Diablo 4 Twitch reward to their inventories, players must have their Battle.net account connected to the streaming platform and watch 30 minutes of Diablo 4 channels with drops enabled. The staff will be given away for free in anticipation of the upcoming Campfire Chat, and it will not be necessary to own the Vessel of Hatred expansion to claim the item.

What to Expect From the Next Diablo 4 Campfire Chat?

The next livestream from the Diablo 4 developers will begin on June 27 at 11 AM PT, and focus on a preview of Diablo 4 Season 9, Sins of the Horadrim. With simultaneous broadcasts on Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, the devs promise to address topics such as the new questline that will be added. Other features to be covered include the new seasonal mechanic called Horadric Spellcraft and Escalating Nightmares, an upcoming Diablo 4 endgame activity that will connect three Nightmare Dungeons. As with previous Campfire Chat livestreams, players will be able to interact with the developers and ask questions about the ninth season.

Season 9 is scheduled to run from July to September and is part of Diablo 4‘s 2025 roadmap, which was revealed earlier this year. In it, Blizzard listed features such as a reputation board and keyboard and mouse support for console players. Another confirmed change is the addition of more pets to follow players on their adventures. Although not yet officially revealed, a Diablo 4 leak shared in early June teased the three pets that may join the game in Season 9.
