Case Files are side quests that Raidou can complete throughout Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army. These can range from simply bringing someone in town a specific item, getting a cat down from a Shrine, or finding and defeating demons that are trying to terrorize the people of the capital, with none of them being directly tied to the main story.
Completing Case Files will give you items based on the overall difficulty of the Case File, making it fairly worthwhile to complete some of the more difficult quests when you also factor in the bonus XP and Yen. The first Case File requires players to find three Aril Rifts in Tsukudo-Cho, here’s where to find them.

Where to Find Each Aril Rift in Tsukudo-Cho in Raidou Remastered
There are three Aril Rifts to find in Tsukudo-Cho:
- In the alleyway just to the right of Isakaya in the southern section of the district.
- Following the main road of Kamishiro-zaka north, look off to the right in the small alleyway right before reaching Tamonten Shrine.
- Taking the first right on Kamishiro-zaka when coming from the south, take the next left before reaching Konnou-ya & Goumaden, with the rift found towards the middle of the alleyway.
These Aril Rifts can be completed in any order, though the enemies found within are randomized, and the possible enemy compositions are shared between all three. As long as you find and clear each one once, you’ll complete the Case File.

Demons Found in Tsukudo-Cho Aril Rifts in Raidou Remastered
Demons in these Aril Rifts spawn in groups of five, though the exact demons you’ll fight in each rift will vary just depending on random chance. The weakness for each demon is below, and as long as you have demons that can hit each listed weakness, these fights shouldn’t be very difficult.
Demon |
Elemental Weakness |
---|---|
Pixie |
Ice Fire |
Ukobach |
Ice |
Preta |
Fire |
At this point in the story, Raidou will have access to an Ice and Fire spell, so he will also be very efficient in any fight. If you need a demon to hit these specific weaknesses, you can go back to the Dark Realm at any time through the Nameless Shrine to recruit as many as needed.
Rewards for Completing Case File No.01
The main reward you get for completing this Case File is one Balm of Life. This restores a demon to full health, in or out of combat. Early into the game, you won’t have access to a revival spell, and a Balm of Life can be very handy in a boss fight for reviving a demon that can hit the weakness of the boss. Aside from this Case File, you can get other very early-game Balms through DLC, but your options are limited. Aril Rifts also give four times the usual XP, so completing this Case File can also give you another early game level before progressing the main story.
