The Battlefield 6 reveal is still planned to take place in summer 2025, according to one notable member of the game’s development team. The developers are currently focusing on and preparing for the game’s reveal with Battlefield Labs, a program that allows players to test out concepts and features of Battlefield 6 in an alpha state.
Battlefield 6 is in development by the largest team of developers that the franchise has ever had at Battlefield Studios, which consists of DICE, Criterion, EA Motive, and Ripple Effect. With several new features and pieces of content in the works, the Battlefield Labs program is a crucial avenue for fans to give feedback directly to the developers. Periodically, new Battlefield Labs invites are sent out to Battlefield fans, allowing them to join the program under a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in order to play the game for themselves. However, NDAs haven’t stopped users from leaking footage of Battlefield 6 as a work-in-progress in Battlefield Labs. The excitement continues to grow in the midst of leaks and rumors, with some fans asking if the Battlefield 6 reveal is still on track.

Battlefield 6 Reveal is Still Planned for Summer 2025
While waiting for the reveal, it should be noted that sign-ups are still available on the Battlefield Labs website, along with a link to the official Battlefield Discord server. The server allows players to link up for matches and receive the latest information regarding the Battlefield franchise. Leaks in recent months point toward Battlefield 6 returning to the series’ roots with squad-based Conquest modes with high player counts and classes like Assault and Support. The new Battlefield game is expected to launch within EA’s current fiscal year, which runs until March 31, 2026. EA CEO Andrew Wilson previously stated that the company will execute a “deep pipeline” of titles, which begins with the highly anticipated reveal of Battlefield 6 this summer.
