Xbox Game Pass Update Adds 3 Games, Including 2 Day One Releases

It’s a big day for Xbox Game Pass, as the subscription service is getting three new games, including day-one releases for FBC: Firebreak and Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. June has already been a stacked month for the platform, thanks to a massive lineup of incoming games and day-one availability for 11 Bit Studio’s hotly anticipated The Alters. The Xbox Game Pass hot streak keeps going today, especially for Ultimate subscribers.

Microsoft had previously confirmed that FBC: Firebreak and Lost in Random: The Eternal Die would come to Xbox Game Pass on June 17, but that was not the full story. When the company unveiled the full Wave 1 lineup, it revealed that a third game was also coming to the service, and fans don’t need an Ultimate or PC subscription to play it.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Adds One of 2024’s Best-Selling Games

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate adds a new title for the sixth time in June 2025, bringing one of the best-selling games of 2024 to its subscribers.

In addition to the two day-one releases out on June 17, Xbox Game Pass users can play Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Dropping multiple games in a single day isn’t unheard of for the platform, as two more titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass on June 18, and another four are coming on the 26th, but getting simultaneous day-one releases is unusual. Getting access to new games on their first day is one of the biggest reasons to pay the extra money for an Ultimate subscription, so getting two at once makes the service all the more exciting for Xbox fans. Standard subscribers won’t be able to access these for now, but the release of Crash Bandicoot 4 on the platform ensures they’re not left out.

New Xbox Game Pass Games Available on June 13

  • Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (Standard, Ultimate, PC)
  • FBC: Firebreak (Ultimate, PC)
  • Lost in Random: The Eternal Die (Ultimate, PC)

The day-one releases for Xbox Game Pass have been strong lately. Despite only being out for less than a week at this point, The Alters is already one of the year’s best-reviewed Game Pass titles, and there’s a lot of excitement behind FBC: Firebreak, too. The release of Lost in Random: The Eternal Die further bolsters the lineup by giving roguelike fans something to dig into, and there’s more to come this year, too. Hollow Knight: Silksong will get a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass before 2025 is up, as will The Outer Worlds 2.

The influx of titles to Microsoft’s gaming subscription service is coming at a good time. There are rumors that Xbox Game Pass will raise its prices before long, following a price hike from last year. While higher costs may never be popular, at least fans can enjoy a strong lineup of games, including several noteworthy day-one titles, in exchange.
