Epic Games has revealed that it will be supporting mouse controls for Fortnite on the Nintendo Switch 2 starting on June 7. Fortnite has also confirmed that it will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 when the console makes its highly awaited debut on June 5.

It seems as if fans of the battle royale have a lot to look forward to this weekend, as Fortnite‘s Galactic Battle season will be ending with a live event on Saturday. While there’s no official word on when players will be able to get their hands on Chapter 6 Season 3, many people are expecting to see it launch at some point over the weekend.

Epic Games has been busy outlining the future of its popular battle royale at Unreal Fest in Orlando and even surprised fans with several announcements about future collaborations. In a recent State of Unreal presentation, it was announced that Avatar: The Last Airbender will be coming to the Unreal Editor in Fortnite, though fans will need to wait until 2026.

While the Galactic Battle mini-season may be coming to a close, Epic Games recently announced another collaboration between Fortnite and Star Wars. This time, players will be able to utilize the Unreal Editor to create their own Star Wars experiences. Unfortunately, the company didn’t announce when gamers would be able to take advantage of the new tools. With so much content to enjoy and a whole new console to play on, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
