Epic Games has revealed that LEGO Fortnite will be getting a whole new experience called LEGO Fortnite Expeditions on June 18, which will also introduce Hero Classes to the game mode. LEGO Fortnite originally made its debut on December 7, 2023, as a single game mode, but it has since branched off into LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and LEGO Fortnite Brick Life.

Two AI NPCs were recently added to LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, giving players a whole new way to interact with characters in the popular game mode. The NPCs are Noir and Slurp Leviathan, and they’re powered by the same technology that brought an AI version of the iconic Star Wars character Darth Vader to Fortnite‘s battle royale. However, these NPCs work a little differently, as players cannot speak to them directly through a microphone. Instead, Noir and Slurp Leviathan offer unique responses to events and actions that take place in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life, which may include players emoting or gathering around them.

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey Fans Won’t Believe Just How Far the LEGO Fortnite Klombo Has Wandered From Its Locale

All that Fortnite fans and LEGO builders have to do is look for bare Klombo necessities.

In a recent post on Twitter, Epic Games revealed that players will soon be able to experience LEGO Fortnite in a whole new way with the introduction of LEGO Fortnite Expeditions. The trailer for the new mode didn’t go into many details, but did mention that LEGO Fortnite Expeditions will be available to all players on June 18. According to some Fortnite leakers, the mode is meant to be permanent and will be accessible through both LEGO Fortnite Odyssey and LEGO Fortnite Brick Life through bus stations.

Lego Fortnite Expeditions Releases June 17

A follow-up post by Epic Games revealed that LEGO Fortnite Expeditions will also be adding Hero Classes to the game and showed off an image of the Shadow Caller. While the post didn’t explain exactly how they will function, the announcement did state that Shadow Caller is only the first of three Hero Classes coming to LEGO Fortnite Expeditions. Some fans are wondering if Hero Classes will share some similarities with Hero Items in Chapter 6 Season 3 of Fortnite‘s battle royale.

In addition to LEGO Fortnite Expeditions coming on June 18, Epic Games recently announced that it will be bringing a LEGO Brick Editor to the Unreal Editor in Fortnite on June 17. The Brick Editor will give players access to 50 LEGO Bricks in 42 different colors that will allow players to create their own designs in a whole new way. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of LEGO Fortnite.
