A 12-month PlayStation Plus Premium membership is currently available at 33% off, bringing its price down to just over $107. However, the deal comes with several caveats, like the fact that it excludes existing PS Plus Premium subscribers.
Significant PS Plus discounts are relatively rare, at least as far as Sony’s official sales offered via the PlayStation Store are concerned. The currently available deal is part of the 2025 edition of the Days of Play event, which officially kicked off in late May.

Current PlayStation Plus Premium Deal Overview

- Membership: 12-month
- Price: $107.19 (-33%)
- Savings: $52.8

The deal is only available to new PS Plus Premium members and users upgrading from lower tiers.
The biggest catch with the ongoing PS Plus Days of Play discount is that it’s only being offered to new members, as well as those upgrading from lower membership tiers, i.e., PS Plus Essential and Extra. This approach has become a recurring strategy for Sony, which employed a similar restriction in several recent PlayStation Plus promotions.
As with Xbox Game Pass deals, Sony’s method for verifying eligibility is more nuanced than simply checking for an active subscription. Having previously subscribed to PS Plus does not disqualify users, but the subscription must expire naturally. Canceling an active membership to immediately repurchase it at a discounted rate will not work. Doing so is also discouraged because Sony does not offer refunds for PS Plus cancellations made more than 14 days after the initial purchase. Downgrading a membership just to immediately try repurchasing its higher tier also won’t work, partly because this change won’t be immediate, but only take place on the next payment date.
At 33% off, PS Plus Premium is currently at its lowest price in some time. While deeper discounts have occurred, they have been rare. The most recent larger discount was offered during Sony’s annual holiday sale in late 2023, when PS Plus Premium was briefly available at 40% off. For the 2024 holiday season, that offer only reached 30% off. The current 33% discount also applies to PS Plus Essential and Extra. Eligibility criteria for these lower-tier memberships are the same as those for the Premium offer. The deal will expire five days before PS Plus Premium subscribers get access to nine new titles—including FBC: Firebreak, Train Sim World 5, Battlefield 2042, and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes—on June 17.
