It can be tough to finish the challenge that unlocks this item, but it is definitely worth it. This guide will show players how they can complete the Big Boom assassination challenge and gain access to the Party Cracker item in Hitman.
How to Get the Party Cracker in Hitman
Players must complete the Big Boom challenge in Hitman in order to unlock the Party Cracker item. The Big Boom challenge requires gamers to assassinate both targets with a single explosion.
While it may sound simple at first, there is a very specific requirement that must be met in order to get Nolan Cassidy and Janus to get together: all surveillance cameras in both of their homes must be destroyed. Once this is done, Nolan Cassidy will get worried and visit Janus in his backyard for a chat. It is here that players will have their chance to strike.
Below, players will find a step-by-step walkthrough of how to obtain the Party Cracker in Hitman. Once they’ve followed it and completed the challenge, it will be added to their available items list in Hitman World of Assassination.
A small pyrotechnic device. When thrown generates a bright flash, blinding bystanders for a short period of time. Can ignite flammables. Name self-explanatory.
The Party Cracker is a flashbang that lasts about five seconds. If players are looking for a way to temporarily incapacitate someone during a mission, they won’t want to miss out on this opportunity.

Surveillance Camera Locations in Whittleton Creek
There are 12 surveillance cameras in Whittleton Creek. Seven can be found in Nolan Cassidy’s property; the remaining five are located in Janus’s property.
The best approach while attempting to take down all 12 surveillance equipment in Whittleton Creek is to use Agent 47’s silenced pistol, as it is quiet and discrete, making it easier for players to shoot it and remain unnoticed.
Surveillance Camera Locations at Nolan Cassidy’s Property
While exploring Nolan Cassidy’s property in Hitman, they will find four cameras on the ground floor, two inside and two outside, and three cameras on the first floor of the house. Here’s exactly where to find them:
Surveillance Camera #1
- Location: Outdoors, Ground Floor
Players will find this camera on the front porch; it is located right above the front door, close to the garage. Gamers might have some trouble shooting down the camera without catching the attention of the guard on the porch, so it is best to do it at an angle or after distracting him with a coin or another object.
Surveillance Camera #2
- Location: Outdoors, Ground Floor
The next camera is located above the backdoor of the house. Gamers can easily access this area by walking around the back through the election area and then shooting it while hiding in the bushes behind the fence.
Guards will sometimes show up near this area, so players should be careful if they decide to get closer.
Surveillance Camera #3
- Location: Outdoors, Ground Floor
On the southern outside wall of the house, players will be able to spot a surveillance camera right above the fumigation machine.
Surveillance Camera #4
- Location: Indoors, Ground Floor
After taking down the camera above the fumigation machine, gamers can get inside the house by vaulting through the open window that is nearby. In the living room, they will find a surveillance camera on the wall that is shared with the bathroom.
Surveillance Camera #5
- Location: Indoors, First Floor
Players must head upstairs to the first floor to take down the remaining three cameras in the house. There is one in the hallway that is able tocapture anyone as soon as they climb up the stairs, so it is important to avoid holding a gun unless Agent 47 is wearing a disguise that makes this action legal.
Surveillance Camera #6
- Location: Indoors, Gun Room, First Floor
The Gun Room has a survellaince camera right above main window.
Surveillance Camera #7
- Location: Indoors, First Floor
Lastly, players must enter the room that leads to the attic. They will find a surveillance camera between one of its doors and the TV.
Surveillance Camera Locations at Janus’s Property
There are five surveillance cameras at Janus’s property, and four of them can be found outside. Here’s where gamers will have to look if they want to find them all:
Surveillance Camera #1
- Location: Outdoors, Ground Floor
There is also a surveillance camera on Janus’s front porch. However, in this case, it is located on the side opposite of the garage, making it harder to hit without being noticed. Here, gamers will definitely want to case a distraction before shooting their pistol.
Surveillance Camera #2
- Location: Outdoors, Ground Floor
Similarly to Nolan Cassidy’s place, there is also a camera on the side of the house, above the window that leads into the kitchen.
Surveillance Camera #3
- Location: Outdoors, First Floor
Above the back porch, there is a surveillance camera right in the center of the house.
Surveillance Camera #4
- Location: Outdoors, Ground Floor
On the other side of the house, there is also a surveillance camera. It is located directly above the staircase that leads down to the basement.
Surveillance Camera #5
- Location: Indoors, First Floor
Players can get inside the house through the garage, by jumping through a window, or by climbing the pipe located next to the back porch. Either way, once inside, they must climb up to the first floor. Here, gamers will spot a surveillance camera in the corridor, by the stairs, making it harder to avoid.
Players should take out the surveillance cameras at Janus’s property last, as it is here that the meet up will happen. It is also closest to the remote explosives drop at the Road Work site.

How to Complete the Big Boom Assassination Challenge in Hitman
Once all 12 surveillance cameras have been destroyed, Diana will let the players know, asking them what they will happen next. As soon as they hear this, they should be sure to pick up the remote explosives at the Road Work site.
With the explosives tucked away in their pocket, players must head towards Janus’s backyard – it is here that the meet up will take place. Players should place the Remote CX Demo Block in the mole hole besides the shed and the stepping stones and then hide in the shrubs nearby. Cassidy will eventually show up at Janus’s property and ask him to come outside and chat.
They will have their conversation by the mole hole, and it is then that players must detonate the remote explosives and kill them in one-go. Doing so will complete the Big Boom challenge in Hitman, and players will receive the Party Cracker as a reward for their efforts.
