Sons of the Forest Player Spends 1,000 Days Building Jaw-Dropping Base Without Using Cheats

A dedicated Sons of the Forest player has recently shared their latest achievement with the community: they built an amazing base after working on it for 1,000 in-game days in Peaceful Mode. To make this achievement even more incredible, the gamer did not use any cheats to build their base in Sons of the Forest.

Developed by Endnight Games, the original The Forest was released in early access in 2014 and finally reached its 1.0 version in 2018. With the success of the game, the developers released a sequel, Sons of the Forest. After a year in early access, Sons of the Forest reached 1.0 in February 2024.

Sons of the Forest: Best Weapons To Use Against Cannibals

Cannibals can be tricky enemies to deal with, but luckily, there are plenty of short and long-range weapons to counter these light-footed killers.

Now, a gamer called Alert-Permission-908 has shared over a dozen pictures of their incredible base in Sons of the Forest, which looks like a huge fortress made out of stone. According to Alert-Permission-908, they created the colossal base by themselves after playing 1,000 in-game days in Peaceful Mode. While the player did use Kelvin’s help to build the place, they didn’t employ a single cheat, and it took around a year and one month of real-life time to complete the building, which comes with a huge courtyard and a complex interior design. In the post’s comments, most gamers congratulated the fan, appreciating their effort. Feats such as this one show why Sons of the Forest is so popular. Not only does the game offer a strong horror experience with survival mechanics, but it also allows gamers to express their creativity.

Player Creates Amazing Base After 1,000 Days Playing Sons of the Forest

Despite being released over a year ago, Sons of the Forest became quite popular again recently, surging 457% in players on Steam when compared to the previous month. Data shows that Sons of the Forest peaked at almost 50,000 players recently, something that the title was not able to do in a while. While the number pales in comparison to the 414,257 gamers who simultaneously played it when it was released in early access, it’s still a lot.

The reason why Sons of the Forest is blowing up on Steam lately is due to the game being 66% off at the moment, costing only $10. The survival title is already a solid experience with a $30 price tag, so even more gamers will likely be attracted to the title. Gamers who want to purchase Sons of the Forest with a discount will only have until July 10, though, so they should be fast.
