WWE 2K DLC can be a mixed bag, depending on how fans engage with the wrestling world, but WWE 2K25 DLC has been on a hot streak for quality. WWE 2K25‘s first DLC, appropriately named New Wave, brought in figures like the Motor City Machine Guns, Giulia (current WWE Women’s United States Champion), and Stephanie Vaquer, all of whom are destined for big things in WWE. The second DLC, which was recently released, saw a fun theme bring in NBA crossovers but also monsters like Abyss and The Great Khali. Abyss himself was very impressed with his WWE 2K25 model, but perhaps the best DLC addition is yet to come.
The upcoming WWE 2K25 DLC packs will add figures like New Jack, Jordynne Grace, D’Lo Brown, Mark Henry, and Jesse Venture, but none of them are as excited as Penta. Set to release in the WWE 2K25 Fearless Pack DLC later this month, Penta makes his debut in a WWE game. Penta, of course, didn’t make the cut for the base game roster because he joined WWE and Monday Night Raw this past January. And that’s exactly why he’s such an exciting addition.
Penta Has Had An Incredibly Strong WWE Debut
There is no denying Penta is popular due to his presentation, his moveset, and his strong booking. He came into WWE and, in roughly six months, has become a mainstay on Raw, was the Iron Man of this year’s Royal Rumble, appeared on the WrestleMania 41 and Backlash cards chasing the coveted Intercontinental title, and put on an incredible performance in the Money in the Bank Ladder match. It’s almost as if Penta were made for WWE, and he fit right in. It remains to be seen what the rest of the year holds for Penta, but eventually, there is gold on his horizon.
Given the turnaround time for his joining WWE and his debut in WWE 2K25, it’s easy to understand any fan concerns. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Part of the reason his addition is so exciting is not just his popularity as a superstar, but the attention to detail Visual Concepts is dedicated to as well. Abyss praised Janice, Shaq can do a lot with a basketball, and Penta will be Penta.
Penta Will Have an Incredible WWE 2K25 Debut Too
Getting the little details of a wrestler’s presentation is key in WWE 2K games, and WWE 2K25 is no slouch. In fact, Visual Concepts producer Bryan Williams recently confirmed that fans will be able to remove Penta’s glove. He’d also confirm that Penta has a special Cheap Shot action when chain wrestling in WWE 2K25 where he’ll perform his cero meido physical taunt.
Targeting these small details is smart, and it means so much to fans of Penta and WWE. It wouldn’t be quite the same without his specific, almost quirky presentation. Such a small detail being included almost certainly means fans will also see his strut in the game, likely in his entrance and as a taunt. While that’s unconfirmed, it fits perfectly in line with fully realizing Penta as a playable character in WWE 2K25.

Penta made a splash in WWE, and all signs are pointing to him making another splash in WWE 2K25. It ultimately remains to be seen how he is received, of course, but the fact that he remains the biggest face in WWE 2K25‘s DLC schedule speaks to the importance of getting him right. Visual Concepts is certainly aware of that too.
