Zenless Zone Zero Confirms Limited Banner Characters and Events for Version 2.1

Zenless Zone Zero has unveiled the full limited character banners for Version 2.1, featuring the debut of two S-Rank Agents. Zenless Zone Zero‘s next update is set to launch mid-July with a ton of content and events.

HoYoverse is getting ready to wrap up Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0, which marked the beginning of Season 2. The patch added three units to the playable roster and offered quite a few anniversary rewards. However, it seems the action RPG also has big plans for its upcoming 2.1 update. Earlier in June, Zenless Zone Zero revealed two new S-Rank characters for the patch, Ukinami Yuzuha and Alice Thymefield. Now, the developers have confirmed their release order as well as which rerunning units will join them.

During Zenless Zone Zero‘s latest special livestream, HoYoverse announced that Version 2.1, titled “The Impending Crash of Waves,” will go live on July 6. The first half’s banners will feature Ukinami Yuzuha’s debut and Hoshimi Miyabi’s rerun. They will be joined by A-Rank units Piper Wheel and Billy Kid. Phase 2 will debut Alice Thymefield and rerun Tsukishiro Yanagi, along with A-Ranks Soukaku and Seth Lowell. Version 2.1 will also launch Chapter 2 of the main story and several events, such as “Tales of Midsummer Dreams.” Participating in this event will reward players with free summer skins for Belle and Wise. Additionally, Ukinami Yuzuha and Alice will receive premium bathing suit skins available through the in-game shop.

New Gameplay

Both Ukinami Yuzuha and Alice belong to Spook Shack, a new faction in Zenless Zone Zero. During Version 2.1, players will get to know more about the organization and its members, as they will play a role in building the Fantasy Resort. This will be a new map area set on a beach with special game modes like surfing, shooting targets on boat rides, and fishing. Another upcoming map area is Sailume Bay, which will be the main setting of Chapter 2’s story. Finally, the Lemnian Hollow Map will receive two map additions.

The special program gave players a new Zenless Zone Zero redeem code for 300 Polychromes, though even more rewards are on their way with the next update. Once Version 2.1 launches, players can log in for seven days to obtain 10 free Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons. Zenless Zone Zero players can also claim 1,600 Polychromes as a thank-you gift from HoYoverse starting from July 4 until the end of Version 2.1.
