Marvel Rivals has released the patch notes for the Season 3 update. The next Marvel Rivals seasonal cycle is kicking off in the coming days, bringing players a slew of content and features to keep the experience engaging.
The second Marvel Rivals season began on April 11 and featured the iconic Hellfire Gala as its theme. Because of this, Emma Frost, a prominent name in the Hellfire Club, was the first new character of the season. After her, the devs added Ultron, another name highly awaited by players. In line with the theme, NetEase added maps based on the nations of Krakoa and Arakko. Marvel Rivals also got new features, including the option to customize skins. Now, players are preparing for the next Marvel Rivals season with an overview of what to expect from it.

Marvel Rivals Season 3 is dominated by two distinct themes and, with seasons now condensed to two months, that may be a favorable framework.
Marvel Rivals shared the patch notes for the Season 3 update, which will begin on July 11 at 2 am PT and is expected to take approximately two to three hours to implement. As a result, the servers will be down, and the game will be inaccessible during this period. After that, Marvel Rivals will add Jean Grey as a new playable character, bringing a Duelist with a powerful ultimate in which she unites with the Phoenix Force. With the start of Season 3, the new Domination map Klyntar: Celestial Husk will debut, along with a battle pass featuring Phoenix Force and Symbiote-themed skins. Marvel Rivals will add the free Symbiote Storm skin, which will be up for grabs in the Milano Repair Logs event.
The developers will also make adjustments to the mission system by removing daily missions, improving weekly missions, and adding more missions that can be completed repeatedly for rewards. College students will receive free access to Marvel Rivals skins when they connect their school email. Celebrating Jean Grey’s debut, the in-game store will release the Chaos Phoenix Bundle, which will come with a new skin for the character.
To maintain a fair gaming environment for all players, Marvel Rivals will balance characters in Season 3, adjusting several Duelists like Spider-Man and Mr. Fantastic, along with some Strategists and Vanguards such as Loki and Emma Frost. Once again, the developers have made corrections related to collision and terrain errors, which were causing players to be stuck in places on the maps where they shouldn’t be. With so much to see, Marvel Rivals Season 3 promises to be another exciting moment with the threat of Knull and the presence of Phoenix.
