Diablo 4 Season 9, Sins of the Horadrim, is officially live, bringing with it a new Twitch Drop campaign featuring the Glensoul Arbalest crossbow. By watching three hours of any Diablo 4 streamer on Twitch before July 19, fans can add this cosmetic Rogue weapon to their collections without even booting up the game.
Sins of the Horadrim, the ninth seasonal update for Diablo 4, brings the spotlight back onto the ancient scholarly order, culminating in a revamped encounter against Astaroth himself. The update introduces plenty of new features for players to enjoy, including Horadric Spellcraft and Jewels, Escalating Nightmare dungeon runs, and Horadric Strongrooms.

Following the highly anticipated launch of Season 9, Diablo 4 players discover a helpful quality of life change added with the update.
Now, to celebrate the new release, fans can score a free item as well. The Glensoul Arbalest is a brand-new crossbow cosmetic usable by Rogues in Diablo 4, featuring intricate metal details, leather straps, and an understated silver, brown, and green color scheme. Players can earn this cosmetic weapon by watching three hours of any streamer playing Diablo 4 from now until July 19. Gamers do not need to own Diablo 4 or Vessel of Hatred to earn the drop – simply connecting one’s Twitch and Battle.net account is enough to earn this cosmetic, which will be automatically added to their Wardrobe once claimed.
How to Get Diablo Season 9 Twitch Drops
- Connect one’s Twitch and Battle.net accounts.
-
Watch any Twitch streamers in the Diablo 4 category from now through July 19 at 10 AM PT for three hours to earn the Glensoul Arbalest crossbow cosmetic.
- The weapon is usable by Rogues.
- Claim the drop from the Twitch inventory page.
- The Glensoul Arbalest will automatically be added to the Wardrobe.
Interestingly enough, the blog post for this Twitch Drop refers to the Glensoul Arbalest as the item for “Week 1,” despite being available for just over two weeks. Some previous campaigns have included different items distributed over multiple weeks, though the Twitch Drop for Diablo 4 Season 8 only had a single item given away for free. It is possible Blizzard could surprise fans with additional items in this campaign, but there is currently no additional information on the subject at present.
Season 9 marks the third of four seasonal Diablo 4 updates planned for 2025. Infernal Chaos, the Season 10 update planned for September, will add Chaos Powers, Infernal Hordes, and Diablo 4’s second external IP collab. Players can expect to learn more about this new release, as well as the second Diablo 4 expansion in development for 2026, in the second half of the year.
