Shift Up has released a new update for both the PlayStation 5 and PC versions of Stellar Blade, and the devs are thanking the game’s fans with some thoughtful gifts. Over a year following its initial launch exclusively for PS5, Stellar Blade has continued to find massive global success, thanks in no small part recently to the action-adventure title’s release jump to PC.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Stellar Blade had sold over three million copies, with one million of these units sold within three days of the title’s PC launch. While somewhat controversial ahead of its release due to the main character’s appearance, the hack and slash romp has seen largely positive reviews from both critics and players alike, boasting an average score of 81 on OpenCritic and wowing audiences with its combat system and smooth visuals. The development team is continuing to support Stellar Blade with ample post-launch updates, and the newest one is aimed at thanking audiences for their continued support of Eve and her post-apocalyptic adventures.
