An upcoming expansion pack is finally adding fairies to The Sims 4 – here are the features that fans are most looking forward to.
Players can prepare themselves for the upcoming Enchanted by Nature expansion pack by completing the Enigma of the Cove and the Comfort of Nature Quests in The Sims 4, and this guide will give them some pointers on how to finish each quest.
This week, players are tasked with investigating a mysterious tree in a cove. Here’s how they need to proceed in order to complete the Enigma of the Cove Quests in The Sims 4:
Have a Sim Spend Time Outdoors
Gamers will have to return to the outdoors and spend time there just like they did during the Nature’s Calling Week 1 Quests. However, this time around, they must spend two full hours without ever going inside. Players can track how long they have left by checking the Spend Time Outdoors moodlet in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Adopt a Dog (Bonus)
Gamers who own the Cats and Dogs expansion pack for The Sims 4 can earn bonus Event Points and unlock rewards faster by adopting a dog. To adopt a dog in The Sims 4, players must select the Phone icon, open the Home app, and then Call Adoption Agency. Here, they can select whether they want to adopt a child, a cat, or a dog.
With bonus quests, players must be careful. If they complete all other quests in this set before the bonus quest, it will become permanently unavailable, and they will not be able to claim its Even Points at all. Therefore, it is always best to complete bonus quests as soon as they appear.
Travel to Foundry Cove
Foundry Cove Location in The Sims 4
Foundry Cove is a neighborhood in Willow Crew – it is located on the southeastern side of the map. Gamers can travel there by opening the Map, selecting Willow Creek, and then any lot at Foundry Cove. While this quest is active, they can simply open their Phone, select the Travel tab, and then Travel to Foundry Cove.
Dig Up Some Rocks
Players will receive the task to dig up rocks right after arriving at Foundry Cove. Thankfully, there are quite a few rocks at this location, so gamers shouldn’t have to travel elsewhere to complete the quest. Rocks can be found near lots at Foundry Cove. Players can interact with them and select the Dig option.
View the Mysterious Tree
There is a mysterious tree at Foundry Cove. Some gamers might be familiar with it, as it is through it that they can access the secret Willow Creek lot, Sylvan Glade. For this quest, all they have to do is interact with and view the large tree near the river – it is the only tree that they can interact with in this area.
Buy a Telescope on a Home Lot
To buy a telescope in The Sims 4, players must visit the Knowledge section of the Activities and Skills tab in Build Mode.
Use the Telescope to Look for Signs
Once players have put down the telescope, they can return to Live Mode and use it to look for signs.
Next, players will have to get familiar with nature, but they will also be able to enjoy some comforts while doing so.
Buy a Hot Tub on a Home Lot
In The Sims 4, hot tubs are listed in the Tubs and Outdoor Activities tabs in Build Mode.
Soak in a Hot Tub Using the Flowing Fronds Swimwear
Players must be sure to claim their event rewards as the complete its quests. One of the Nature’s Calling Week 2 rewards is the Flowing Fronds swimwear set. Once they’ve claimed this reward, they must open Create-a-Sim, select the Swimwear clothes tab, and put it on one of their Sims. Then, they must change their Sim’s outfit to this item and order them to get in the hot tub to complete this quest.
Complete One Level of Any Nature Aspiration
If players haven’t chosen any Nature Aspiration for their Sims, then they will have to temporarily change it to complete this quest. To change an Aspiration in The Sims 4, gamers must open the Aspirations panel on the bottom right, select the star icon, and select whichever they want. There is a Nature tab in this menu, and it features the following aspirations:
- Country Caretaker
- Outdoor Enthusiast
- Purveyor of Potions, Freelance Botanist
- Angling Ace
- The Curator
- Jungle Explorer
- Crystal Crafter
- Eco Innovator
Players can pick any of these Aspirations, and the quest will be complete once they’ve done one of its levels.
Buy a Tent (Bonus)
Players who own the Snowy Escape expansion pack will be able to complete this bonus quest that requires them to purchase a tent. To buy a tent in The Sims 4, players must find it and get it in the Outdoor Activities tab in Build Mode.
Sleep in a Tent (Bonus)
Once they’ve acquired the tent, they must sleep or nap inside it to complete the next quest.
Craft Two Reclaimed Wood Dining Chairs
Once players have reached Handiness Level 3, they will be able to craft Reclaimed Wood Dining Chairs in The Sims 4 by interacting with a Woodworking Table. It costs 37 Simoleons to craft one of these chairs, and players must build two of them to complete this quest. Copying the first chair will not count towards quest progress.
If players are having trouble leveling up the Handiness Skill in The Sims 4, they should be sure to check their inventory. In order to be able to complete Week 2 quests, gamers will have to have completed the first set. Therefore, they will have received Handiness Vol. 1: Try Not to Die! as a reward for finishing last week’s quests. Players can have their Sims increase their Handiness Skill relatively fast by reading this book, and it’s a free way to level up the skill. Alternatively, they can also attempt to make some sculptures on the woodworking table or playing chess.
If players don’t see the option to craft this item, it is because they haven’t claimed the Week 2 Nature’s Calling Quest Rewards.
Rewards For Completing the Week 2 Nature’s Calling Quests
Players can claim up to seven rewards for completing Nature’s Calling Quests this week – it depends on how many bonus quests they were able to complete. Here is the rewards that they can claim:
- Reclaimed Wood Dining Chair
- 100 Satisfaction Points
- Flowing Fronds Swimwear
