Marvel Rivals Season 3 Reveals Symbiote Jeff and Other New Skins Coming Soon

Season 3 of Marvel Rivals will introduce a Symbiote skin for Jeff the Land Shark among other skins inspired by the season’s theme. Marvel Rivals‘ third season is right around the corner and all sorts of exciting information has already been unveiled. Whereas Seasons 1 and 2 focused on the Fantastic Four and the Mutant island Krakoa respectively, this time around, the new season revolves around Knull, the God of the Symbiotes.

In the lead-up to Season 3, Marvel Rivals developer NetEase has already shown off some of the cosmetic skins fans will be able to get their hands on throughout the season. Right in-line with the Symbiote theme, Captain America is due to receive his impressive Captain Klyntar Symbiote skin. Revealed simultaneously and set for release on the same day, July 3, a week ahead of Season 3’s launch, is Spider-Man’s Future Foundation skin, which is able to change between its black and white colorways. The Thing, Invisible Woman, and Mister Fantastic will also receive their own Future Foundation skins, as seen in the Spidey skin’s reveal teaser.

Marvel Rivals Season 3 is right around the corner, and the game’s new Captain America skin may have just given away the season’s Symbiote theme early.

Cap won’t be the only Marvel Rivals character receiving a Symbiote skin in Season 3. NetEase released Marvel Rivals‘ Season 3 trailer, revealing Jean Grey’s Phoenix and the previously confirmed Blade as the season’s two new playable characters. However, the trailer’s end card is also full of exciting info, mainly the reveal of a Symbiote skin for popular Strategist hero Jeff the Land Shark. Next to Jeff in the shot are Magik, Wolverine, and Blade, who all don similar-looking outfits that all seem to be inspired by Jean Grey and her destructive counterpart Phoenix. Additionally, it looks like Hela will take the side of Knull with her intimidating Queen in Black skin.

New Marvel Rivals Skins Revealed for Season 3

At the moment, it’s still unclear which of these skins that appeared at the end of Marvel Rivals‘ Season 3 trailer will be available in the new battle pass or the in-game store, but such questions will become clear once the season begins. Judging by how popular Symbiotes seem to be across the Marvel fandom, it wouldn’t be too surprising to see several more heroes or villains receive Symbiote suits of their own next to Cap and Jeff. By far the most wanted would be a potential Spider-Man Symbiote suit, like the one popularized in Sam Raimi’s 2007 Spider-Man 3 film. Perhaps the sleeker-looking Symbiote suit seen in Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man 2 would also make a huge splash and would easily have the potential to become the most popular skin in Marvel Rivals.

Season 3 of Marvel Rivals will be ready to begin on July 11 and has been shortened to just two months. As is standard practice, either Phoenix or Blade will serve as the season’s debut character with the other set to arrive at the season’s midway point. New skins are typically unveiled throughout the season as well, so fans should stay tuned to Marvel Rivals‘ social media for any more potential Symbiote surprises.
