Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 3 Wish List

At launch, Monster Hunter Wilds was full of content for players to enjoy, and with each month since its release, Capcom has kept the game alive with Title Updates. Players already have access to hundreds of hours worth of quests and expeditions in the base game of Monster Hunter Wilds, but the Title Update gives fans more reason to keep playing with the diverse range of monsters to hunt and gear to earn.

With each new Title Update, Monster Hunter Wilds has given players plenty of new content to keep them coming back. From the return of beloved creatures from the series’ past to a Monster Hunter and Street Fighter collaboration, these updates always aim to keep the experience fresh. Title Update 2 was released recently, but many are questioning what could arrive in Title Update 3.

The recent Capcom Spotlight revealed the content included in Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2, but one feature may not be what fans expected.

Title Update 3 Monster Predictions

Arch-Tempered Nu Udra

In each of Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Updates, one of the game’s monsters has been affected by the Arch-tempered state. Players have been given the opportunity to fight these creature variants as part of a limited-time event since the Arch-tempered state was first introduced in Monster Hunter World, granting players exclusive rewards after each hunt. So far, two monsters in Monster Hunter Wilds have received Arch-tempered forms, and there is an obvious pick for which should be added next.

The first Arch-tempered monster included in Title Update 1 was Rey Dau, one of the game’s four Apex Predators. The content for Title Update 2 is slowly being added to the game, with Arch-tempered Uth Duna being revealed as the game’s next limited-time event, which players can experience starting from July 29. Like Rey Dau, Uth Duna is another Apex Predator in Monster Hunter Wilds, establishing a trend. From this, it’s very likely that players will be heading to the Oilwell Basin in Title Update 3 to face off against Arch-tempered Nu Udra.

Next Additional Monster

Title Update 3 is confirmed to be adding another monster to the game, and one is a stronger contender than others. Particularly, the most likely candidate is Gogmazios, an Elder Dragon that debuted in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and has yet to be seen since. A Monster Hunter Wilds leak found code that seemed to hint at Gogmazios being added to the game eventually, and Title Update 3 is the perfect opportunity. Some of the creature’s attacks are oil-based, making it the perfect fit for the Oilwell Basin. If Nu Udra is confirmed to be the next Arch-tempered monster, Gogmazios would be a great monster to release alongside the event.

If Title Update 3 follows the path set out by Title Update 2, there could be two monsters returning to Monster Hunter Wilds in September. Monster Hunter Wilds does a great job of representing the entire series with its returning monsters, but a Monster Hunter Frontier creature remains absent.

The Diva in past Monster Hunter games has been negatively affected by monsters like Rebidiora and Guanzorumu, and since she has been included in Monster Hunter Wilds, one of these monsters may follow.

Capcom announces the addition of a fan-requested quality-of-life change coming to Monster Hunter Wilds with the release of Title Update 2.

Monster Hunter Wilds TU3 Additional Content Wish List

Festival of Accord

During the first Title Update, players were treated to Monster Hunter Wilds‘ Festival of Accord: Blossomdance event during the spring, and players can enjoy the Festival of Accord: Flamefete on July 23. As Title Update 3 is scheduled to be released in late September, it’s almost certain that the announced Festival of Accord will have an autumnal theme, giving players the chance to acquire new gear and items fit for the season.

To coincide with this, it’s possible that Monster Hunter Wilds could receive an equivalent to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s Seliana Fun Fright Fest. Like with the Festival of Accord events shown already, it’s likely that the Grand Hub will be decorated to match the theme. Players may also be able to earn Halloween-themed armor for their hunter and Palico as part of the event, as well as decorations for their Pop-up Camps.

Collaboration Event

Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 1 included a Capcom collaboration, giving players access to Street Fighter’s Akuma as a new set of armor that functionally acts like a new weapon type. Title Update 2 does contain a collab, but it has a much smaller impact on gameplay, giving players a Fender guitar gesture. If Title Update 3 includes another Capcom crossover, Resident Evil would be a great pick. Its arrival in Monster Hunter Wilds could align with a possible Halloween event, and it could help to build excitement for Capcom’s upcoming Resident Evil Requiem.

There is also the possibility that the next Title Update could add a collab monster. The series is no stranger to these, and it would not be unexpected for Monster Hunter Wilds. Monster Hunter World handled these monsters in two ways. One was making a variant of an existing monster based on a third-party property, such as Aberrant Deviljho resembling Attack on Titan’s Colossal Titan. The other method is including a monster from another IP directly to Monster Hunter, which is what happened with Final Fantasy’s Behemoth.

If the next Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update collaborates with Resident Evil, it’s possible that a monster could be inspired by this series. However, there has been some speculation that the crossover will be with Godzilla. This is a Monster Hunter crossover that some have waited to see for quite some time, and Title Update 3 making it a reality would be terrific.

While little has been officially revealed about Monster Hunter Wilds’ next Title Update, there are plenty of rumors and speculation to keep fans excited. Players will need to wait until closer to September for the content to be revealed, but until then, there is still plenty of content set to release for Monster Hunter Wilds’ Title Update 2, such as the Arch-tempered Uth Duna fight and the Fender Special Collaboration Event.
