Although Marvel Rivals Season 3 has not been officially revealed yet by the developers at NetEase Games, many potential details and features for the season have been leaked in recent weeks.

Leaks and rumors regarding Marvel Rivals Season 3 have been rampant in recent weeks with details on heroes, maps, and the overall theme of the season. The season is rumored to center around Knull, the creator and god of the Symbiotes, and a wave of new Symbiote-inspired skins are expected to make their way into the game. In addition, both Phoenix and Blade have been rumored for Season 3, with the latter being teased throughout Marvel Rivals Season 2. Blade has been seen sleeping in the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda map, leading many to believe that the hero would become playable in Season 2. However, as Season 2 comes to a close, more details have emerged about what Season 3 could entail, including updates and changes to Wolverine.

Marvel Rivals leaker X0X_Leak on Twitter has claimed that Season 3 will introduce a new team-up ability for Wolverine and the leaked hero Phoenix. The new team-up ability could launch as early as July 11 with the Marvel Rivals Season 3 update, and the leak suggests that Wolverine will benefit greatly from the new ability. According to X0X_Leak, Wolverine gains a movement boost from the team-up ability, along with a Rage reward. It’s unclear how much Rage Wolverine will get from the team-up ability, but its introduction will mean that Wolverine’s current Fastball Special is expected to retire.
