Overwatch 2 first released the Stadium game mode in Season 16, with this quickly becoming one of the most popular aspects of the OW2 game. Stadium gives players a fast-paced combat style where they lock in one hero of their choice for the entirety of the game and then create a progressing hero build over a series of mini-rounds by playing to earn Stadium Cash. This Stadium Cash is then used to purchase Items to pair with the unlockable Powers to further develop your build.

Overwatch 2’s Season 17 has a variety of Challenges for the Stadium game mode, plenty of which have rewards tied to them.

In Season 17, Overwatch Stadium entered its second season, with a number of new additions and changes being implemented. The most significant of these changes are the three new hero additions of Sigma on Tank, Junkrat on DPS, and Zenyatta on Support, as well as a variety of new and edited hero Powers and Items for players to use in their builds.   • MEKA Punch (Power)

    • Booster elimination also resets the cooldown of boosters.
    • During boosters, quick melee now gains 50% attack speed (instead of 75% damage).
  • Dae-hyun’s Detonator (Item)

    • Now shows a danger warning sign to the enemy if the enemy is within the blast radius.
    • Decreased radius to 100% (down from 200%).
  • Nano Cola Nitrous (Item)

    • Increased health stat to 50 (up from 25).
    • Removed stat: health increases 5%.
